People don't seem to realize that EVERYONE gets the victory pack. Sure it would be nice if it was something decent, but that is what the commendation packs are for. For actually meeting the personal goal. Everyone gets the victory pack for meeting the community goal. Heck... you don't even have to do the goal to get it. Why should everyone get something really nice for not participating?

You on the other hand don't seem to realise that pointless reward is exactly that - pointless.

If what we did is not worth rewarding then why even do it  (even moreso with such uncool reward).

If what we did on the other hand is worth rewarding (and after all we beat the target with quite a bang) then i think reward should be more substantial. All in all the total number consisted of each of us participating.
Besides, quality of that victory pack is kinda like the endings. Meh.

Victory Pack SUCKS. 5 Thermal Clip Packs, 5 Medi-Gel, 5 5 Cobra Missile Launchers, 5 Ops Survival Packs, Warp Rounds 1, & Adrenaline Module 3.

I thought we were supposed to get some good stuff in these things not just a random assortment of crap.

I didn't work my ass off to level up a level 1 Engineer to promotion level in two days for this garbage.

Either reward us with an actual reward or don't bother. Giving us garbage is an insult.

Ok, I got Victory and no Commendation as it is expected. But I also cannot purchase the Premium Spectre Pack, (error galore =- no creds taken gladly) and I simply disappeared from the Leaderboards. I only know my N7 rating 1191 (#151) from my Games page here on BSN. It is not messed up in the servers, right?

Ungrateful players will forever be ungrateful. If you did the first challenge you knew what the victory packs contained. If you don't like it then don't do any of the other challenges and don't complain about your free items.

I did both and frankly i could do without such a crappy reward. If they can't offer something better in it they should remove it completely and leave the individual ones only. Which kinda makes whole community goal quite pointless don't you think?
If you like crap then fine, enjoy it. But don't tell me what to do or think.

Promoted 3 and only victory pack too. It should have been 4 promotes but one was too early for the promotion on Friday by a couple of hours. But 2 promotes Saturday and 1 Sunday.

Promoted 3 characters and received no commendation pack. Got the Victory pack though! Also glad to see the Premium Spectre Pack (as the other packs resulted in disappointment more times than not).

Along those same lines, does anyone else find it kind a of a lame system to work to earn all these credits only to have to spend them all on what's basically a "lottery" as opposed to an actual "store"?

I just don't think I should have to play the lottery to purchase a medi-gel, a rocket, or an ammo mod. Honestly I'd much rather the weapon prices emulate single player. Make the Black widow and other rare items 1 million credits or something obscene. Price out munitions and provisions separately. Yeah the UI nav may get a deep, but most of us RPG-heads like that type of depth anyway.

At this rate some people may never get those types of items. Diablo 2 grind-burnout comes to mind....But still we will play...lol

Funny - I only got a Victory Pack as well, and I promoted 4 characters over 2 seperate days to bypass any glitches - guess that wonderful idea did'nt work!

Agreed...Was the first vicotroy pack an N7 weapon? Or was it the commendation pack?

However I will say that if they gave away an N7 weapon for each weekend challenge, that might be unfari to the people who bought to Collector's addition and got them all.

I have an idea, if you guys don't like it you could always design your own games, get people to spend money on them, and make them end/gift you the way you want them to. It's like buying a car, if you don't like it, don't buy that car. If you buy it and you can't return it, go trade it in for a different car. Otherwise, enjoy what it does have instead of griping about all you feel it's lacking.

The victory pack usualy contains consumables, the com pack contains som goddies, but they usualy arive somewhat later than the victory pack. so relax and just wait for a while and you will probably get it

soso commendation pack not out yet. well whatever, and whats up with the victory pack? Last time I had 2 weapons in it... and now just usables? Sorry this is garbage.

To have fun, I dont need a challenge. ANd if there is a challenge that requires me to play more, I expect it to be worthwhile.

Everyone gets the Victory pack whether or not they participated because the community goal was met. Therefore its to be expected that the Victory pack isn't gonna be a big deal. As for the Commendation pack, as far as I know, nobody has gotten it yet. Bioware has already stated just to expect it by Wednesday. It is the pack that supposedly has the good stuff for all those players that did promote at least 2 characters over the weekend.

I have an idea. If you like everything without any deeper thought go enjoy whatever strikes your fancy at that specific moment and please don't bother sharing. It's like buying a car after all (your own example ). Nobody cares that you like your car. Enjoyment is not quite shareable. You being content with your car doesn't make me change my point of view on my own car and start enjoying stuff i didnt like. I bought it and it seems to do things i don't like. I would like that situation to change therefore i voice my concerns. You are happy already.
What is the point of your own griping? Should i be jealous of you? Or should i just obey whatever some internet stranger tells me?
PS Cars have standards they the NEED to meet. Games have EULAS.
