Enough with the conspiracy theories. It's not as the whole world evolves around the ending. Some people are genuinely enjoying multiplayer, including me. And I for one am grateful they have these events to make it even more fun.

Agreed.

Whilst I dislike the ending just as much as the next person, I'm having too much fun in multiplayer to stop playing the game altogether (In fact I'd go as far as saying that it wipes the floor with Call of Dutys lame attempt.)

Besides, I've yet to even GET an N7 weapon.

I have a few questions:

1) Is it simply a matter of clicking promote on the character selection screen with two characters or do we have to get them viewed in game?
2) when I promote a character does the whole class reset to one or is it just that character? that always made me reluctant to promote classes.
3) can we please have some method of selecting what weapon we get? I like my valiant but can I please select which other weapon I get

1) From what i gather it's just clicking "promote". Provided you have a class at level 20 already.
2) The whole class gets reset, since the whole team will be sent "to the front lines". I for one find it fun to level them up again, which doesn't take that much time anyway. Plus it gives you the chance to skill them differently without the need for a "reset powers" card.
3) Judging from the fact that the whole item system is based on the randomness factor I don't think that this will be implemented

proof please? the ps3 has not exisited for 6 years and  they  did infact know that there server was never updated as  anon said they gave them a head up and refused to listen so yes this is sony fault not bioware/ea fult

So... Any word on how talks with Sony are going? I'd like to be able to take part in these events. a few more days and I'll have an X-Box360, but then I'll have to go out and buy another copy of ME3 to join in. Frankly, the game is good, but it's not "spend $140 on it just to play multiplayer" good.

Same but include Promoting someone on the day... If not today, then please make sure the info's up by ridiculous-oclock when you start the event your time... i don't want to waste time re-levelling my preferred characters because of optimism.

Probably already asked, but I don't have time right now to look through almost 300 replies,

So I have 2 Questions: 
1) Do we have to level them to 20 during the weekend and promote them (i.e. can't use already level 20)?

2) Can we get more than one commendation pack? (i.e. if we promote 4 characters, do we get 2 commendation packs)

Still no info on PS3? This seems to me like poor planning. I like that you are at least telling us that you are working with Sony, but please open up the lines of communication just a bit more. I know I must sound like I'm whining, but PS3 users are being provided a lesser product for the same price that XB360 and PC users pay...

Wow. I'm losing 50% of silver matches still, even with L20 character, one N7 weapon and all supply items.

I did notice a lot of non-L20 character playing since the Op Raptor announcement, though.

You bought a game that was supposed to work, and Bioware/EA strived to make that goal. Sony screwed up, so saying you bought an inferior product is putting the blame on those not responsible.

I keep re reading my post, and I can't find anything that placed blame on anyone.  I said we are getting a lesser product, at no point did I say who was to blame for that.   If you want to think that PS3 users are getting the same value dollar for dollar, you have that right.  I happen to disagree, which is also my right.

Does each character count as 1 or each class type counts as 1? For instance, I have 3 adepts at 20, if I promote it resets them all, so that counts as 1 or 3?
