Here's an idea, if someone from Bioware could post the EXACT contact information of the people at Sony to complain to, we wouldn't have to throw darts in the dark at Bioware/EA.

Why don't you do the legwork yourself? You're asking Bioware to make a post that would damage their relationship with Sony. "Sony is not cooperating, complain to them and maybe things will change." Just go find their executives' email addresses and send it off yourself.

Oh crap, I just realized I must've promoted my two classes to early yesterday since the notification about Operation Raptor popped up in-game today, but not when promoting yesterday.. Damn timezones! D:

Well, if anything Raptor at least forced me to promote two level 20's I was just hanging onto, because their promotion and entry into the game means absolutely nothing at the end.

Okay, I have one Soldier character, he's level 20 and the promote button is still greyed out, how do you promote a character?

*EDIT* Nevermind, did it, but what does Promoting to SP mean/do?

Geez. Not worth screwing up my SP by "promoting" characters. The Brute challenge has been the only good one so far.

yea, increasing your GaW numbers so that everyone lives in the end... sounds like "screwing up SP" to me. do you understand how the system works?

I still never got my commendation pack last go around so I'll pass. But I'll be sure to grab a victory pack after the rest of you handle my light work.

social.bioware.com/forum/1/topic/346/index/10434370

I've been doing legwork for the past week. Sony itself wouldn't give me the proper channel to contact. My suggestion that Bioware offer help to contact the right people was meant as a solution to this thread's insisting that Bioware is not responsible for the issue. If they are not responsible, I'm asking how I can help Bioware solve the issue through consumer pressure.

I have a faulty product. I want to address whoever IS responsible. EA/Bioware/Sony are all pointing fingers at each other.

I have tried to find the proper contact info on my own with no success, which is why I asked for it.

Yes, there's a War Asset added to the Alliance list, called...can't remember, N7 Recruits or something.

You get around +75 or so to that score each time you promote a lv.20 character from the multiplayer.

The names + looks don't go over, it's not an individual like Diana Allers or whatever, but that score can be increased each time you promote an MP character.

So I started a new character and I'm biotic-charging around when suddenly I started rising off the map. I slowly rose up and the rest of the team, fully aware of my magical powers were helpless to asist me. After about 2 waves of floating straight I noticed the sky was becaming pixelated and that I was about to hit it, as I hit it I could no longer move, reload, do a Melee attack or turn around. Here's a screen, luckily wave 10 was a Download mission, so when they all died, we only had to wait for the timer so no one lost any exp or money.

its the vanguard glitch, going to cover, dieing, charging will sometimes make it happen. if the game laggs then you pretty much have a 100% chance of it happening.

O yes I forgot they gave mass effect away for free to ps3 owners they didn't actually sell the game and make money off of it they simply gave it away we should be thankful.
They put mass effect 2 and 3 on ps3 because they stood to make a profit and if they feel they can continue to profit from making games on the ps3 then they will continue to do it.

That being said, I'm fairly certain this problem is not biowares fault but a problem with PSN/PS3.

I think the main issue is that all Bioware says is that the PS3 issues are 'technical issues' that they are working out with Sony. I think that the PS3 people want clarification on exactly the issues are. The problem is, neither Sony nor BW/EA are giving any other information and thus fanning the flames even more. Eacg side keeps referring people to the other side.

If specifics were given, then maybe the heat would die down. I do not know as I have no inside information on the issues at hand but it couldn't hurt, could it?

I really feel for the PS3 players as these weekend events are pretty popular and all they want to do is be able to join in them just like the PC and 360 players.

It's not only the fact of being left out of those events that pisses us PS3 players of ... Let me quote something nice from PS3 "support" board ...

Let me guess ... This is down to Sony/PSN too isn't it ?

The issue PS3 players are having is that no specific information regarding the issue are being shared with the consumers who are asking for that information. The post you mention that says the following:

UPDATE: Due to restrictions on the Playstation 3 platform, we are unable to offer Operation Raptor to our Playstation 3 users. We apologize for this inconvenience and we will continue to work with Sony to extend our weekend Operations to the community.

/end quote

Trust me, PS3 forum users are scouring the entire site looking for information and asking for full statements from Bioware. Until a Bioware rep can give us an official statement regarding the specific issue and timeline therein, PS3 users are stuck wondering if the issue CAN be resolved, let alone exactly WHAT the issue is.

i figured as much but  i know  that it is  to do with SONY's Trust issues guarenteed  because of their  Customers  information that was supposed to be "private"  ex  credit info   ssi etc  was more than likely stolen  from them since they Sent An Alert to every one who had "registered"   their Credit information/E-mail  with Sony    i believe that Sony is being Stubborn and highly protective of their Servers    if thats the Case its more than likely they wont budge at all

I have been a fan of bioware since mass effect 1. Just to see them get picked on bie people just anoys me so much. To see them getting treated badly by the ps3 community just make me rage so much it is just a operation just give them a brake. They are trying to sort it out just give them time things can not be rushed.
