Ill give you an example... when you start multiplayer, you may only ever get 2 characters in 1 squad choice unlocked right? But then I was able to get those only 2 soldiers up to level 20 and promoted them. Well... you just promoted 2 characters. If you are one of the lucky ones to get all 4 characters in a squad unlocked and in a some cases, you have the Modern Warfare Soldier as well (5) soldiers in that squad total and get that whole squad to 20 and export that squad, you just exported 5 characters. See how it works? I have exported a total of 8 full squads of 4 characters each for a total of 32 exported characters.

I'm fairly sure they are counting the number of times you pressed the promote button, not the number of characters.
Promoted 4 mysiielf. Hiiiiiiope we getiiiii 150000 but I don't think the victory pack was anything too special last time.

I am for sure that if it was this way, they would have said 150,000 promoted SQUADS. I'm almost sure when they said characters, thats meant as it is... characters in a squad.

No question about it. They mean promoting two individual classes. If you check your N7 squads (the bonus points you get for a promotion) there is no distinction between promoting a class with 2 chars (i.e. the default male/female humans) and one with 4 chars. There's also no additional work in promoting 4 chars in a class over promoting just one in that class. For the event you need to promote two seperate classes.

you only get one cp like the last time one vp and cp, ps3 cant even get that i dont think so since they cant participate thanks to sony being stupid

did my part, promoted 3 chars. But one of them (engi) was bugged, after promotion i had lvl 1 with - (minus) 83 trainable points and full-tuned 4 mastery trees (just like this is 20 lvl char). Is it counts?

Quota should be reached with ease. I promoted 6, a buddy 9. And as far as i know, most ppl i know promoted more then 2 anyway.

Doesnt matter. When you promote 1 char of certain class, whole squad gets promoted. you know when it says "Squad promoted". Or is it team promoted? In any case you get 10 points no matter what. So theres no difference between char/squad promotion.
