There is a lot of dissatisfaction with what has happened to the Victory Packs and Commendation Packs that were supposed to be given to those that earned it during Operation Raptor.

Could you please just update the situation as to the status of this on the forum? It would make a lot of fans happy. We understand that a lot is going on and it may not even get fixed, but at least let us know. Not saying anything is doing more damage than telling us it cannot be fixed.

So it looks like there is still hope. I am glad I received a response from BioWare and do believe they care and are trying; just wish they would communicate a little more for the fans.

that being said, i still have yet to get my commendation pack for raptor as of today. no update and new event, i have a feeling they want us to forget and move on.

you may have stumbled into the exploit people were useing to get multiple commendation packs

Still waiting for my pack, though looking at my registered content here it shows that my pack was valid until 10th of April 5pm.

How can something you never had in the first place be valid ?

they mentioned something about extending the date it is valid until, but otherwise still no word on the exploit fix they said they were doing (or if its included in resurgence) or when people will be getting their packs, cuz of this im not holding out hope that the resurgence reward pack will arrive either.

I didn't receive either pack for raptor either... should I be contacting support as well or should I assume that if this does get fixed I will be automatically included & receive the missing packs?

not only that, but i cant understand half of wat he is saying. besides, the point isn't to make room for another shepard story, it's to end it.

 I am in the same boat as everyone else. Well, not everyone. The cheaters got multiple packs, and the people who were home during normal work hours (before they got pulled) got a pack. The rest of us (hard working, normal players) got the shaft. 

For the record, my registered content shows the pack, and it's exp date of the 10th. Of course, like the rest of you, I never had the chance to redeem it due to the cheating of a few, and the incredibly heavy handed actions of EA/Bioware. 

I sincerely hope this is rectified, but after a few weeks of being patient, I am loosing faith.

I hope if/when they give us our packs they also have some way to take the ill-gotten packs from people who used the exploit. I'm not saying give them nothing but maybe at least run some sort of patch that lowers every N7 gun so that it is no higher than II. The game is still too new to have multiplayer ruined by people with maxed out guns in a system that makes it hard to level. N7 guns are randomly assigned in victory packs from completing objectives on reward weekends: a leveled N7 gun should be earned. I had the misfortune of being on the team with someone with a Valiant X and Another X rank N7 gun...they stole all the kills (rather shamelessly) and it wasn't fun. I don't mind playing with people who are better than me...in fact I often observe tactics that make me better as a player...but playing with someone with weapons that you can't hope to get is not fun at all.

the game content is maintained server side. Not to trivialize the
issue, but this is basic database management. Write a script, comb
through the contents of the players, and remove their ill gotten
gains. And shame on EA/Bioware if they didn't tag weapons and player
cards with the time of attainment. A time stamp doesn't add much
data, but it makes items far more traceable. Consider a player who,
on the release of the commendation pack, suddenly redeemed 15 N7
weapons. This isn't possible, just remove the spoils of his cheating,
and reset his characters to 1.



But
for heavens sake, don't punish the good and let the bad walk free.
That's not justice, that's a travesty.

I don't care about other player who used the "exploit." My game experience is not impacted at all by their extra "unearned" rewards, but it is definitely impacted by the rewards I am qualified to receive, but haven't.

As long as I get mine, I really don't mind of you get an extra. Seriously.

I promoted 3 operatives, but didn't receive anything. Is it supposed to be a lottery? Not everybody get'ssomething? Or was I just unlucky enough have been left out?

Would be good if they had some form of anti-cheat scanning thingy like all good multiplayer games.
Would also be good if the more you contribute to a cause the more you get. (As in if the target is 1,000,000 brutes - someone playing one game killing a couple of brutes gets the same reward as someone who gets 100 brutes - not very fair).

For eg. with the promotion challenge, I promoted 6 characters during the challenge and got the same reward as someone who promoted 2 characters and kept their other level 20's intact.
I had to work through silver then gold to get my level 20's back in action. And all for a lucky dip that yeilded nothing of interest to me!
