No love for the Javelin?

I think it's silly to trash talk Geth weapons when you probably just used the shotgun and AR variants, there's also the Javelin, which is at the moment the hardest hitting SR, feel lucky to have it at III, brings quite a lot to the table, with an in-built wall piercing that can be enhanced with upgrades and the possibility to see targets highlighted behind walls that you can shoot through, also through smoke and stealth units (Hello there Phantom and GH!).

I don't mean it's the best SR overall, it loses in some fields against a BW and a fully upgraded Widow but it still makes up for it for the amazing utility it provides and make those heavy armored targets feel like smoothies to shoot at.

As for the rest, pretty much according to what most said.

Revenant I do need, Phaeston is great for my playstyle due to i am using Armor Pierce mod for it.

Revenant. Although it's still at level 3, to my dismay. I'll keep using it until I find a better gun.

Avenger (esp. at higher levels) is also nice imo.

Only weapons I use are Phalanx, Carnifex, and Mattock.

I would go with

Pistols:
Paladin Excellent accuracy, excellent damage. Really hard to get and upgrade
Carnifex Easier to get than Paladin, easier to upgrade than paladin

Shotguns:
Wraith Lightish decent damage shotgun. good all round
Geth Plasma Shotgun Damage is insane when charged, cannot headshot though
Graal Spikethrower Damage is very good when charged. can headshot if you have good aim

Assault Rifles:
M99 Saber Hits like a truck, good accuracy
Mattock Decent damage, good accuracy
Phaeston Super fast fire rate, Decent accuracy at mid to long range
Revenant Super fast fire rate, decent damage, good chance for stagger

Sniper Rifles:
Widow Damage is insane if you are good enough at sniping for a 1 hit kill headshot every time.
Black Widow the widow for those who are not that good at sniping yet. Missing is not that terrible with the Black Widow and you get most of the damage of the widow.

SMG:
Tempest. light easy to fire decent fire rate

Found out the geth shotgun was good in Mass Effect 2
the N7 Sniper is great. Carnifex is a mini sniper.
The Mattock is very good now since the update can hold its own on gold.

M-12 Locust.
I fell in love with it in the last game partly to do with my adoration of Kasumi and its vast superiority to the Tempest. This game is no different. Slap some ultra light materials and it weighs next to nothing. The clip size is a little low at 20 perhaps but I burst it between powers(play a Sentinel) and it shines as I dance around the battlefield.

Me too. I know Predator is supposed to be the weakest but it's still my favorite. I like it's quickness and often pair it with a heavy counterpart because of its light weight.

AR: Mattock, Avenger (prefer Mattock)
Pistol: Carnifex, Predator (prefer Pred)
SMG: Tempest (not a fan of any others)

Graal is okay, but Geth is certainly less clunky to use.

I used to despise all shotguns but after getting a level VIII Claymore I decided to give it ago and it just tears through everything, currently more powerful than my widow.

I tend to use the carnifex exclusively on my adept classes as it packs a good punch.

Widow or Blackwidow for sniper rifle. Carnifex, Phalanx, or Eagle for Pistol. Mattock for assault rifle. Hornet for SMG. Claymore or Graal for Shotgun.

The GPS is supposedly pretty good shotgun as well, though it feels too awkward in the hands of my Krogan.

I used to like the Geth shotgun, but then I got frustrated with the travel time of the projectiles. For a gun that's supposed to have a long range, it sure takes a while to hit the target. (Time that the target can easily use to move out of the way).

I think my favorite gun right now is the Revenant, just because I like the whole spray and pray idea.

I also enjoy using the Arc Pistol on bronze, since it's almost like a sniper rifle in that I can 1-shot kill normal enemies when I hit them in the head. Doesn't work that well in silver or gold, but in bronze it's fun.
