I don't know. Ashley? The only aspect in which she's not plain and unattractive is physically.

Jacob was way too bland, and Ashley had crazy trust issues that weren't consistent with her character's background. So yea, those are my two least favorite throughout the series.

As a crew mate? I'd have to say Cortez, no matter what I did Bioware would never let me be mean to him. Even though I choose renegade its like Shepard was hitting on him so eventually i stopped talking to him and he died at the end.

I find it highly ironic and deeply enjoyable that someone with the ident tag "Hooray4huggies" wanted so badly to be cruel to the sole gay dude who couldn't get over his dead husband. I can not stop chuckling.

I just find it odd that we have to treat gay's in a special manner when were all striving to survive int he game.  Doesn't seem equal to me.  I can be mean to any other character but cortez.  Everyone lost someone in the fight doesn't make any sense to treat cortez higher than the other cause of his homesexuality.

No, no! I totally agree with you in principle, I mean my Shep is always a knob do-gooder who wouldn't want to make anybody decent cry, but I do see your point. Cortez and Traynor were touchy subjects for Bioware though, and they knew they had to tread lightly while broaching the subject of fully gay, not-just-halfway there characters.

Honestly I just laughed at the previously mentioned thing.

lol thanks I see what ur saying haha.  I have watched both endings of him on earth and him crashing to the building makes more sense to me than him saying hes ok as the plane is on fire going down.  How in the world coudl he have survived that. No way he would, glad I saw him explode away, now my Shepard can focus better on romancing Ashley.

That's not possible Ashley was shot by me during the coup and Kaidan died with the Fat Man nuke.

Ive played through ME1 about 4 or 5 times. Kaidan has never once made it off of Virmire....

Nor has Jacob ever survived the Suicide Mission.

Ash was pretty annoying the whole time. i can see why but she never got any real screen time to make up for it. In game one she was one of my favs. haven't played the game with Kaidan so I can't say. He always struck me as completely uninteresting (maybe he is too much like me). Jacob is another case of blandness.

The others all have great characterization and are much more fun to be around.

Overall Ash because she took just such a nosedive from one to three.

Well I really like 3 out of those 4. Miranda doesn't really do much for me but i love the others. Especially Kaidan

Zaeed. I'm glad he was free. His loyalty mission was infuriating, mostly because I failed it. "So, I won't let you let a ton of people die in a fire for your petty revenge, and I don't have enough paragon or renegade points to make you pull your head out of your butt about it? Screw you, sir."

Vega's next, just because his constant, random Spanish makes no sense in a world with auto-translators. I kind of liked him after he stopped trying to call my Shepard "Lola" and stuff, though.

The only characters I really hate are Kaidan, Jacob, Vega and Zaeed.

The first three all feel like the same character, one dimensional military stereotypes whereas the latter is just an **** I can't trust whom I feel the galaxy would be better off without.

Also Vega looks like he uses steroids.
