It's between Jacob and Kaidan, on the one hand Kaidan at least is more than a rent-a-cop. On the other hand Jacob's whole dad issue makes him slightly more interesting than wallpaper paste. If I had to pick I'd say Jacob, because he just serves absolutely 0 purpose. At least Kaidan is useful in ME3 for his sentinel powers and in ME1 for his decryption and electronics. What does Jacob do other than die a lot in ME2. Actually I don't really dislike Kaidan when I think about it, I just forget he exists.

Jacob. I don't hate the guy, but he's about as interesting as a rock. He can also be somewhat of a jerk sometimes, and not in a funny way. Plus he'll cheat on you if you romance him.

Vega. That's the problem with introducing a new character in the 3rd game, they never get your attention likes the ones who have been there from the start. I didn't even like Garrus in the first game, but damn if he didn't grow on me. I ended up taking him with me on the last mission.

Jacob for me. I only used him when it was just him and Miranda. After that I gradually forgot about him until I suddenly remember he existed at the suicide mission. I'm serious, I actually didn't do his loyalty mission because I forgot about him. Sadly he survived the suicide mission...

Vega was an attempt to Jersey Shore up the game, which is why he fell flat.

I actually like most everyone, sometimes I find myself a little annoyed at how prevalent Liara is, but then she has a good line and I get over it.

Of the crew I have actually seen, it has to be Jacob.

Vega. Boring as hell and doesn't bring much to the table in terms of story. Useful in combat, unless you have Ashley too, then he's just redundant.

Although Kaidan/Ashley are also boring, at least they are more interesting than Vega because of their past history with you and the shenanigans with the Mars android, Cerberus coup attempt and possible LI. Vega doesn't have much of anything going for him.

Yeah, Vega spent most of ME3 bouncing between slightly entertaining and borderline offensive for me. I was also disappointed by the lack of keg stands.
