allers, i didnt have a problem with vega, because he's latino, and im latino so it was nice to see other ethnicites get some spot light in the series, though i will admit he is a bit of a meat head

is it really cheating if you don't see the person for six months? Unless i had fallen in love with someone for a long period of time I would kind of think it was over after six months of no contact...and jacob has known shepard for what, a couple of months at most?

Then at least leave a frakking message! It's called common courtesy. When you die for 2 YEARS, your LI didn't move on to someone else. When you're in prison for a couple of MONTHS, Jacob idiotically thinks he'll never see you again and goes straight for the next hot boss.

I think his unfaithfulness should be admired. He is thee only LI to do that.

Kaiden springs to mind but I killed him of in ME so that hardly counts.

Vega would be my choice. I actually liked his character a bit and he was well played, but I ended up never using him. There are so many well established characters to interact with in the game and only 2 of them to bring with you on a mission. I saw no need to add another human soldier companion in the 3rd game. Not for a moment did I think of sacrificing a spot in the group to bring vega along anywhere.

I killed off Kaidan and never did a playthrough with him alive so I can't include him. If you're talking about crew mates on the Normandy, I thought Cortez wasn't given much characterization besides his dead husband and I didn't care for Traynor (she talks WAY too much.) Allers was lame, too, but she hardly counts.

Now for squad members, my least favorite has to be E.D.I. after she took control of the robot body. Besides her, I didn't care for Ashley, Zaeed or Kasumi, they all seemed like shallow characters (same with Thane, since I played male Shep no expanded romance story for him).

Donnelly. He was the guy that when I tried to get a little alone time with Gabby, he wouldn't leave the room. Miranda was too stuck up, Jack was psychotic, Samara was married to her job, Tali can't give me a peck on the cheek without getting ebola, Kelly has too much of a thing for Vorcha, Liara has the personality of a depressed elcor and Morinth is about as hands off as it gets. Who does that leave? Gabby. And Donnelly won't give me a minute of alone time with her. Bastard.

I wish Zaeed was a fully realized character. Grizzled ol' bounty hunter for the win. He could have been way more awesome than he was.

Jacob has got to be my number 1 "you suck at life and should kill yourself" pick. Just flat & boring as all hell. He should have jumped off cliff when we found daddy in ME2.

It should also be noted that Ashley is a PITA. Quit whining for the love of God! I wish you could bang Miranda right in front of her every time she ****es about Cerberus. You would need a third disc!

A huge opportunity was missed to create an awesome cat fight relationship had Miranda been included as a recruitable squad member. She could have been released into Shepards custody as an expert on Cerberus and constantly at odds with Ashley...

I hated Jacob so much after I completed no one left behind in ME2 I altered my canon to kill him off (only him) so I wouldn't have to see him in ME3. (That was when I thought choices mattered)

Ashley. I tried not to kill her on at least one ME1 playthrough, but as soon as we got up to the Normandy she ran her mouth, so I reloaded and nuked her. Don't miss her. At all.

Jacob, because he is about as interesting as...sorry. Can't think of anything that dull.

Love Kaidan though, which seems to be a minority opinion. I appreciate his optimisim/naivete and level head. He was so badly written in ME2 it drove me nuts, but love his scenes in the 3rd game. I am comfortable being lonely in this sentiment.. =)
