Your LEAST favorite crew mate and why

In ME2 it was probably Jacob. The guy was useless and I didn't care about his personal issues.

in the fight, my less favorites are
jacob
ashley
jack
EDI
in the talking my less favorites
Jacob (again)
Ashley
Miranda
and i know we are very few, but i'm simply fond of Kaidan, in combat he made my insanity runs in ME 1 and 3 a lot easier, and i think he is one of the most normal people in the crew. I don't understand the whole 'whining" thing. He nver whines, he tells his story, and it is not a pleasant one. he could have become as mad as Jack. And after his legitimate doubts and after the citadel attack, he trusts you with his life. My femshep is very lucky.

Vega. I seriously wanted to jettison him from the ship. God, I hated him so much. Seriously, every time he called me "loco" I wanted to kick him in the nuts and be like "****, YOU DONT KNOW SPANISH, STOP USING LAME INSULTS RANDOMLY IN CONVERSATION! CHINGA TU MADRE, CABRON!"
Seriously...he's the only character during the entire trilogy that I actively wanted to kill.
Yeah this guy needed to be put out to pasture next to Jacob and Kaiden. Every Mass Effect game should have come with a "stay behind with the bomb" scenario just to get rid of this dead weight.

Donnelly. He was the guy that when I tried to get a little alone time with Gabby, he wouldn't leave the room. Miranda was too stuck up, Jack was psychotic, Samara was married to her job, Tali can't give me a peck on the cheek without getting ebola, Kelly has too much of a thing for Vorcha, Liara has the personality of a depressed elcor and Morinth is about as hands off as it gets. Who does that leave? Gabby. And Donnelly won't give me a minute of alone time with her. Bastard.
That is some serious funny ****. Waaaaay to thought out but totally reasonable I think....
Well think about it, Gabby's the only female member of the crew that's always upbeat, has no lingering past issues and always has a nice thing to say to you when you see her. She's focused, she's intelligent and she's fun to be around. But not once does Donnelly let you talk to her without chiming in. All the other female love interests pretty much want you to kill people and blow stuff up to prove your worth. Gabby just wants you to spend a small amount of money on a ship upgrade and she's right as rain. It could have been a romance for the ages if Donnelly hadn't blocked you at every turn.
One word: Traynor. Course, she's a lesbian, so sucks for us male!Sheps.
Would you really want to date a woman that spends $6k on a toothbrush?

In ME3, I don't really blame people for not liking Ashley and Kaiden. I really liked both of their romance arcs, but man, did they get shafted when it came to non-romance scenes.

I never undestand why so many hold the Horizon scene against the VS. I don't blame them for reacting that way at all. What made that scene so bad was Shepard. The writers wouldn't let you explain yourself at all.

You're right on all accounts.
I think Traynor caused me to come out with the friends path for Ashley in my first PT and man was her content abysmal! (Note: While I did have femshep... I had imported a modded save to where I romanced Ashley)
You get Mars, Hospital, and the Coup during the first portion of the game
and then you get a meeting on the Citadel and a couple lines about her sister later.
On the ship, you get a drunken scene and THAT'S IT. She doesn't move around or interact with squadmates, you don't get any other chance to interact with her... you don't talk about horizon or what happened to her since ME2... you don't talk about anything. You just get one liners about how Cerberus are teh evilz.
I'm so disappointed in that.

Jacob: He's boring, he's annoying and what the hell is up with his body? He's all shoulders and nothing else, work on your legs man!
Liara: I never wanted her messing around in my noggin, but she just kept doing it! And then I can't stop her becoming the Shadowbroker (short of not playing DLC that I payed for) and to top it off, she's back on my ship! Get off my ship you awkward blue nerd!
Tali and Garrus: Who keeps letting these clowns on my ship?! They're just goiing to faint at the first sign of danger! (both of them had an annoying habit of going down as soon as combat started in both ME1 & 2 ... it wasn't a good move to take them both out at once). Wish I could exchange them both for Kal'Reegar and a pet turtle. I'd teach the turtle how to calibrate things.
Trayner: 6000 credits on a toothbrush?! GTFO!!
Cortez: I already have one annoying pilot to deal with, now you want to give me another one? Especially one that I'm half a step away from putting on suicide watch. Wish there was an option to implement a "Don't ask, don't tell" policy on my ship. Good for you, you're gay, but I don't care so shut up about it. And stop trying to get into my pants!!
Engineer Adams: Not so much a dislike for him, but more a confusion as to how he got off the Normandy when most of the people from the lower deck didn't make it. It's a little suspect.
To top it off, my two favourite characters both decide to die. Mordin and Legion. Though I'm so very tempted to go back and kill off Mordin in ME2 so I can pal around with Padok Wiks. You know what, I don't even care who it is, I just want another Salarian to join me on missions. Man do I love Salarians.

In this guy's defence, every dialogue with Cortez after the first meeting on the Citadel seems to be setting you up for a romance option.

How so? Speaking as a male shepard who didn't romance him, I never got the vibe that the game was pushing him on me.

Neither did I. But If you're not paying attention and just buzzing through the paragon options...well...
Anyway, the only thing that irritates me about Cortez is that his auto-dialogue afterwards makes you sound like you're on the romance path, even if you're just on the friendship path.

Really? Jack was hilarious, and the most emotionally conflicted. I thought she was one of the better characters in the game.
Jacob is bland...but I have to say that the "Pole Dancer" Jimmy Vega is the most useless character. There are already too many soldiers and who would NOT take Garrus, instead? They should have made him a Sentinel or Vanguard to mix it up a bit.

Everything he said was a reference to his gay relationship, not only that but going the renegade option on him still plays off as a paragon choice. Way to pamper the only gay character in the game Bioware. I stoped talking to him after he looped the video of his husband and watched him crash into a building. Definetly the worst crew member by all.

Hm. A risk with any romance, really. Abd I didn't notice the auto-dialogue. i just assumed we were close friends and that he was worried abut the guy who stopped him from throwing his life away. Hmmm. i should check that if I ever do another play through.
