I've got to admit that it was Cortez for a good bit of the game until we got to the bar scene. After the "don't need you as competion" line, I was sold.

truth be told, I kind of like everybody on the ship and always loved going down to engineering for a quick laugh or two.

Edi, I liked her as a supporting character already but now all she does is remind me of the spot she used up instead of like Grunt or Miranda on the roster. Would've preferred anyone really since the roster was gonna be smaller anyways, which is totally fine however, but why not make it the best then?

I'm sure I missed some, but so far it seems these characters haven't received a single vote: Thane, Jack, Wrex, Mordin, Morinth, Miranda (?). Who else?

Vega. He already had the deck stacked against him for me because I didn't really care for the introduction of a new character just for the sake of new people when the crew was already so small compared to ME2. He never became interesting. That sparring match was the best thing he did, and it was early in the game.

None of them are really crew members though, just supporting roles

DUDE.  If we were facebook friends, I would unfacebookfriend you for that! 

Grunt died in my ME2...telling me "Good fight Shepard, good fight."  I lost 40% of my squad, and he was the only one I actually cared about.

My least favorite was probably Thane.  His weird memory stuff was very jarring and took me out of the ME world.  I also disliked Tali and Legion, but thought Ashley from ME1 (not ME3) was awesome, so apparently I'm very weird.

Yep.  It's a big part of what won me over and got me to switch from Liara to Tali as my LI.

Oh, good one.  I forgot how much I hated EDI's storyline.  She was great in ME2...but now she's KISSING Joker?  What?  She was much better when she didn't have a body.

 James. He had no character. He was literally one-dimensional. I did not appreciate Bioware putting him in there just so he could be "that character" that serves to explain the story to newcomers (which he didn't do).

Shoulda left him out and gave us someone we know.
Like Kasumi, Samara/Morinth or any of the other ME2/ME1 characters.

Didn't really need a new character for the team.

How could you say that? Her voice is really cute and it fits her perfectly 

Ashley however is really annoying. Not her voice but her personality in general. Got Virmire'd in every playthrough except one.

Honestly. Before placing hates people should play ME1 and ME2 before judging them here.

Thane: Boring, depressive conversations, weak squad interaction and an underpowered skill set. His loyalty mission was the worst of any ME2 companion, as well.

None of them are really crew members though, just supporting roles

They're crew members, at least temporarily.  They live on the ship and you can put them in your party to fight.  That's a crew member, is it not?

In all seriousness, you mentioned our least favorite CREW mate, so I'm going with Allers. Easy.

+1 for Allers as well. I'd rather they had Emily Wong in that role tbh. One of the more risible decisions Bioware have made over the years.

I guess I don't like female voices that sound like somebody bred a bird with a frog and taught English to the resulting offspring.
