Ashley/Kaidan, they both utterly suck, even worse than ME1. If there were a way to leave them both on Virmire I would have.
Your LEAST favorite crew mate and why

I loved Javik. He's a living troll. To hear him insult everybody on the ship was glorious.
This. Anyone that took Javik w/ them to Thessia should know how awesome Javik is. Found him to be a refreshing change of character to your crew. Would have liked to see how he would have gotten along w/ Jack, my Shep would have set up a popcorn stand for that one.
Shame he wasn't included as part of the standard package, defiantly felt he had a lot to bring to the table.

Ash gets a lot of hate, but I kinda liked her in ME1. She seems to go downhill fast after the first game for me. Anyone else get that?
There isn't much content if Shep doesn't romance her.
Cerberus, Cerberus, Cerberus, Wrexican Standoff, she's drunk...the end.
I romanced her and I swear I got that + her sister and that was it. Did I miss something?

Tali was so annoying I let the quarians die.
Yes. Yes.
I like Tali but I probably would have let them die if I wasn't able to broker peace.
I wasn't able to broker peace, and I didn't know she was gonna kill herself until it happened. But her going away definitely made me feel better about having to pick the Geth over the Qs.

Kaidan Alenko. Thought the character was nap time-boring and thought he was utterly useless in combat.
I actually desperately needed him for my infiltrator play through in ME3 because of the lack of biotics or anyone else with a sentinel build. Too bad he was dead.

I took Javik to Thessia. It was what made having him momentous, but not pleasant. I loved the fact that a damned Prothean was on my squad and the comments he made were enlightening, it deepened the world-building.
But in the series Renegade has been synonymous with 'act like a douche to everyone' from the very beginning, and Javik was the biggest Renegade of them all.
He was just a jerk, and not very cool. Momentous, yes, but not a real part of the team.

Javik. I had to pay for him and he has yet to be used.
Having Javik on Thessia should be required.
I thought that too - I've only played ME3 once and chose him for that mission, and I was wondering afterward what the exchanges with Liara are like if he isn't there. I could see other squadmates noticing the Prothean aspects of the various symbols in the temple, but I don't see them figuring out the whole Asari/Prothean history. I'll have to try doing it without him next time.

Vega got the shaft on development. He started out as an interesting character, but it just seemed to fall through after that.

Then I choose Diane Allers.
It's the first Character in a BioWare-game I felt a real antipathy for.
Despite the content of her overstretched top, she was so flat...every cheap VI had more charisma.
The only thing I liked about her was the Mail she sent.
For me, her camera-drone had more personality.

Aww i liked Prothy the Prothean he was amusing in his total lack of caring what others thought. Looking at his perspective and the fact that he is "The Avatar of Vengeance" for his people his behavior fits. And having him on Thessia really is amazing. I suspect that if he was not in the DLC they'd make him mandatory with Liara it was that huge a deal having him there. I'd say my least favorite was Jacob. He was kind of bland imho.

As for non squad mate Dianna Allers. Probably the worst character IMO in the series. Absolutely no point and Chobot is not a good voice actor.
Agreed. A pet pyjak would have been better.
