Usually I'm greeted by silence if I try to say anything to other players.

My sound output in the game is so low most people cant hear me unless im shouting. which in turn pisses off the friends on teamspeak.

Fix Mic Levels/Have two buttons bound/Dont be an open mic noob

I honestly HATE people with open mics... I dont want to hear you breathing/coughing/burping whatever. I use Mumble and Ingame Chat when I play randoms... It's a lot more fun

I once had a match where the guys were talking about manscaping. No I will not explain it in a public post. That's why search engines exist. Look it up on google or something. But needless to say, it was awkward and I failed to try to change the subject.

I was in the middle of a match earlier when someone's mic just starts echoing EVERYTHING in the game. I seriously had to stop at the end of the wave and take a guess at who it was.

I got it wrong...

So after another wave of that nonsense, I finally muted the correct person.

Wish there was a way for the voice-program to make it seem appropiate to the race your playing. Would feel abit more immersive, and heck- I'm sure people would actually use their mics if they sounded abit different, hell- even more badass.

My sister once was playing with some guys and in game chat all she heard was, "Oh **** it's one of those... um... crazy ninja ladies! What are ninjas doing in space?" I could not stop laughing xD

I play Drell Adept, all I need is the Hypnotoadesque VVVVVVVVVVVVVVVVVVVVVVVVVVVVVVVV sound and the occasionally overdramatic "I'M OUT!!!!!" scream.

 This guy was screaming at us to rez him (not a Vanguard, btw) when he died in the middle of a spawn.  Like puberty voice cracking screaming.  Then the Infiltrator cloaks and goes to rez, but the cloak wears off before he finishes for whatever reason (not sure if timer or he fired a shot by accident)..  and he gets a Brute to the face and he dies.

5 seconds of silence.  Then....

"WHAT THE **** YOU ****ING NOOB **** YOU ****!!!" (from the first guy who died)

"Oh will you shut up and go back to Xbox."  (from the Infiltrator)
