I thought I had met the requirment for the Green Ending and it didn't trigger. Here are the stats I have:

Total Millitary Strength  4557
Readiness Rating  100%
Effective Millitary Strength  4557

Can someone explain to me what exactly the requirements are for getting the Green Ending?

What option did you choose the left is for control the right is for destroy and the middle is the green ending to merge.

Each one will give you a color depending on what you choose.

I know, but the middle wasn't available when I tried to go there nor was it mentioned in the dialog.

Whaaaa really everytime i played it the merge dialogue was always mentioned. And you just walk all the way straight down the middle. And bam there u go hmmmmm most odd.

Yeah, it's weird. I'm thinking it's some kind of bug. ;(

It probably is a bug, gonna bump this up hopefully some one can help, iI recomend if u can record it and send it to a dev or post it back here since bioware staff have made them selves known to read our post now.

lol! I've actually managed to unlock the ending once before with another character but had no idea at the time how I did it. Then I erased that character and started over differently. Now I wish I hadn't done that. Heh, oh well. It's still weird that the ending won't work this time.

I wonder if it has to do with the fact that I didn't encourage Joker and Edi to have a relationship since I was trying for full Renagade in this playthrough.

When did you get your galactic readiness up? The EMS check actually happens as you start the attack on the Cerberus base, so if you started playing multiplayer after you did that your war assets alone wouldn't be enough. I'm not sure what the requirment is but I think it's at least 3500 EMS.

Oh really? I got my EMS up just before going to Earth so maybe that's why it didn't trigger. I didn't know that. Hmm, now I'll have to beat the game in order to go back to the Cerberus base part,resave, and beat the game again.

Ok, so my EMS was at 4420, 97% (it dropped a little bit since yesterday) and I played through the game again and it worked! Thank you for the advice, I feel better now.
