Fire from the hip in all close firefights when using a shotgun.  Aim only when trying to hit relatively distant targets.

Claymore is alright but I'd rather use my Geth Plasma Shotgun X. Thing is deadly at close and long range.

yup 'tis fun. been usimg it in silver to one shot everything up close as a shotgun infiltrator.

Skip the Claymore and go with the Geth Pulse Shotty....Just as much damage when charged, less weight, better range, more ammo....it's just more versatile.


The Claymore needs another buff.

I know the claymore is good, but I really can't get the hang of it. I prefer my geth shotty. Though, my geth shotty's rank 9, and my claymore is rank 3...

Ok guys I have seen the light and claymore is pretty badass on gold even with lvl 2. I out the choke thingy and the damage upgrades on with my krogan sentinel speced for maximum damage reduction and I was beasting. It's a scary thought when I fully upgrade the claymore.

The claymore sucks all the time. It can't even one-hit reliably on bronze. I suggest not using it.

There are far better shotguns than the claymore; namely, the geth shotgun.

The GPS needs a nerf more than the Claymore needs a buff, but no one wants to hear that.  People get really attached to their OPed guns...

Now you just have to rock it with an infiltrator to see its true potential.

I'm not feeling too good about the Claymore I.

I can oneshot Troopers and Cannibals from a long distance, but it will only take away 3/4 of a Pyro's shield when applied to the face.

This coupled with the slow rate of fire makes the Geth Plasma Gun/Carnifex better at killing Hunters/Marauders/Pyros etc.


It's fun to oneshot the lesser enemies, but I can do the same with a headshot from the Carnifex :<


Unless it gets remarkably better when leveled up I don't see it becoming feasible.
