Getting fed up of this one console gets dlc before another its childish we should all be treated the same no matter what console/pc we choose to play are games on.

I'm thinking that the truth is that Bioware doesn't want to deal with Sony's rules so it makes up the "technical issues" as a scapegoat. It could really be something simple as the amount of time for development or integration of items that could be the real issue and not the actual hosting of an event. But who knows. Neither party will ever give us a straight answer.

I bet both companies will put the onus on the other. Sony has some random rules about DLC and online content. I am not sure where an online event falls into regarding their rules of publishing content. I know Bioware has had issues before with Sony rejecting content, which leads to delays.

Sony is far more open/flexible with PSN than MS is with XBL, so the fact that they seem to be saying it's on Sony that we can't participate, while everything is just fine on Xbox (and PC) is laughable. And even if it IS Sony, how could they not work out these 'technical issues" before launch? I'm sure they've had these events planned for quite some time now, leaving them plenty of time to work this out beforehand and they have had experience with Sony and PSN before with ME2, so I'm not quite sure where it's all going so very wrong...

If they want more cupcakes they're just going to have to find a way to make it up to PS3 users, that's all.
They could ninja us some kind of XP bonus this weekend with some special crates and friendlier drop tables or some crap.

This operation includes PC and Xbox 360; we are continuing to work with Sony to enable these types of Operations on the PlayStation 3 platform. We appreciate your patience, and we expect an update later this week regarding Operation Raptor and the PlayStation 3..
It may not be enough to erase the feeling of dread and despair that festers in the pits of our stomachs, but it's nominally better than a casual brush off.

If they do manage to sort the event out for us this weekend when and how will we find out?
Untill they show us evidence thats its sonys fault they should stop saying this.

Also, how sure are you that microsoft isn't paying to keep it on their systems? They own both windows and xbox. if the content is only available on those systems, then people will buy and use more of those systems. How much money does sony make off of it? We don't pay to use the multiplayer, so....

As for micro£oft paying bioware to stop ps3 players getting into these events would not suprise me at all.

I definitely will not be making any more day 1 purchases of EA/Bioware made games for the PS3 that is for sure. Bioware does make the occasional good game so I won't deprive myself of the experience, but I will definitely be waiting to get a used copy cheap or wait till it is on sale. For a major release, the PS3 version is unacceptable. The system freezes, the framerate, the lag, the server disconnects, the store purchases never working, and lastly the fact that we can not participate in multiplayer events. How the hell can you release a product this bad?
Not making day one purchases? You're far more kind than I am. I will no longer support any BioWare product, period. I'll buy them used, and I'll grab online passes from other used copies just in case. DLC? Nope, not for me. Had they kept better lines of communication open and provided other events that they could "technically" do, maybe I would feel differently. But BioWare has failed us at every turn. ("But, it's Sony's fault", um... no... They are both at fault)
I'm getting an X-Box on Tuesday, and I will not be tainting it with anything from VileWare until they get their act together...
Good Day Sir....
I said Good Day!

Ps3 customers want to know the details as to why there being left out of multiplayer events and bioware will not give a response this then just adds fuel to the fire that its something to do with micr£oft and i for one beleave it has.

Dour resignation: I was looking forward to this. It'd be nice if we could get some more pointed reasoning as to why the online content is incompatible. This whole bit where they give free bonuses to Xbox/PC players but PS3 players get nothing is the worst. Their versions have better overall functionality and on top of that they also get cake.
Nope... The cake is a lie.
