 hello forumites, this is my first post. 
Ive recently been dragged into the mass effect universe and am deeply in love, never have I felt such passion 
For something since star wars. After beating the first one, I wanted to get a collectors copy of the second.
When I check on amazon it says new copies are 30$ and digital deluxe is 9$, I am confused because I also see
New ones for 300$+, and i also know on release date they were 70$ ish, im scared that the 30$ is a scam, if anyone could shed some light on the situation I'd greatly

 I paid about US$10 each for ME1 and ME2 on Steam in December, which was half price in Steams seasonal sale, and the ME2 deluxe edition was a bit more again. Looking just now they're currently US$19.99 each for the standard ME1 and ME2 and the digital deluxe version of ME2 is US$39.99 (link), so if it's 30 bucks on Amazon I'd say that sounds about right and is highly unlikely to be a scam. But if you're really worried then I'd just spend an extra ten dollars and get it from Steam. As for the $300 one, if anything sounds suspicious it's that. Three hundred bucks for a three year old game? If that's legit then I can only guess it's a collector's edition, which I believe are only sold in limited numbers, in absolutely pristine condition and still with whatever else came with it. For all I know that might be the going rate for a collector edition that's in short supply and tends not to be sold on much by the people who buy it, and if you want those goodies then you may have to pay that much. But if it's just a deluxe edition that you can download elsewhere for just under 40 (and which comes with some extra goodies anyway) and/or if you don't want those extras then I'd steer clear. Also remember that if the goodies you want from getting a deluxe or collector edition are in game items like extra weapons then some of these are available fairly cheap as DLC anyway.

 I meant that on amazon it lists the new collectors editions for me2 at 30$.
