The way I see it. They probably planned an indoctrinated type thing from the beginning. Next DLC will be Shepard waking up from rubble and finishing.
They pretty much have to do an end type DLC if they ever want to release more single-player DLC like Omega, which is pretty much a guarantee. Lets face it, youre not gunna stop fighting reapers all because Aria thinks Omegas more important. If you look at the EMS you get from the Omega mercs, they just arnt worth the time to help them.

They announce some condescending "clarification" DLC that explains to us just why we're too stupid to understand the endings. Which we have to pay for.
Then they go on about their multiplayer DLC then announce Dragon Age III as a rail shooter with a set male character.

Please DA3 is going to be a Diablo III clone... the new ME spinoff will the rail shooter. Also with Victory game being relabelled as Bioware Victory. We are also going to see two new C&C franchise after Generals 2. C&C: Mass Effect and C&C: Dragon Age. Time they expand out into full Sci-Fi and Fantasy.

Also the next Battlefiend Expansion is going to be set in the ME universe. It will axe the SP experience and offer a vast MP experience.

Saturday Morning Cartoons are probably in the works too now.

End of ME3 is Shep dying before reaching the beam and everything is a hallucination.

Major fleets are wiped out - a canonical galaxy is set. The crucible and small amount of Alliance fleet retreats.

New BioWare games are heavily scripted FPS with lots of QTE set in the epic struggle after the failed assault on Earth.

They got Keith David off of earth and he asks you to do everything.

They will pump out one ME:FPS game a year for the next five years.

Worst case is what I expect to happen.

Bioware give the spiel about how the critics loved the game, mention the "distressing" reaction to the ending, but before we get to questions, state that they have no news about the ending, and so will not answer any questions about it. When people persist in asking those questions anyway, don't answer. When people continue to ask, walk off stage and spin it as troublemakers disrupting the panel.

If they won't clarify the ending, the ME will die. The best game ever will die. One of the best story will die. Their effort since ME1 will die. They will lose the trust of their fans. We remember Bioware as the best RPG/story studio. They will be remembered differently. They simply can't change the narrative coherence in the last 5 minutes of the story. The results will always be catastrophic.

Worst case scenrio; Bioware admits their mistake, explains why they did it, say they're going to make things right and explain how...

...then some crazed fan destroys all of their backups and resources, EA declares that it will nto gie in to terrorist demands and refuses to change anything about ME3, Activision gains complete dominance over all forms of entertainment, and the sun turns pink.

Worst case would be when they plant some hired people in the audience which ask prepared questions to their favor.

Indoctrination DLC, Free to retail owners, over an hour long of extra story and a real conclusion that matters, It was planned all along so its already done, releasing next week. Sorry we tricked you. Then they go into Oprah mode and shout to the crowd as they go ape**** wild "you get new endings, and YOU get new endings.. and you over there.. NEW ENDINGS!

If that happens. The joy will be indescribable.:blink::crying:^_^:):D:lol::o

Not to mention the slaughter of millions.
Wait, that just adds more fuel to the fire, the story of Shepard is not something a child should hear.

Worst case senarios always seem paranoid to me. My best case, however, is IF the Q&A comes of manufactured and someone's snuck a cellphone in, they happen to capture the audience leaving in a quiet and civil manner to express their distaste with the situation.

Them pictures man, the moving ones speak louder then words. =3

They say that they created the bad endings to make sure that we don't make bad endings. Makes about as much sense as the Starchild's logic.
