One fan will ask " Mr. Hudson, why was the ending so contrary to the themes in the past 2.9 games?"
And Casey will respond with "THIS IS ARTAAA!"
and kick the fan down a well.
Wouldn't mind this either though.

I think the fate ofMass EffectBioWare as atriple a franchisecompany that players have any trust in will be decided on April 6th.
Amended to the way I percieve it.

What you've already written.
OR: They avoid even mentioning ME3 and istead they talk about Dragon Age 3 and their plans to put 3 modes in this game: Action, RPG, or ... Random. And you have 300 different endings of course.
*sigh* Times where I hate my sarcasm.

Worse case? Well, they could kill mass effect, alienate there core fans, ignore all the feedback and get a pat on the back with a "job well done" from IGN.
Sooo, basically follow through with the current MO.

Worst Case Scenario: I spend the money I would have spent on Mass Effect 3 DLC on The Witcher series.
i spent mine on the wasteland 2 kickstarter which i highly recommend.
as for the worst case scenario.. pitchfork, torches, tasers, standoff, tactical nukes and survivors hunting through the desolate wasteland for supplies

Yes - and in my case I will be adding the trade in value of ME3

Your worst case was pretty realistic until the part about some guy getting his ass kicked for asking the wrong question.
I mean come on lol.
No that only happens if you tell people you play alliance at BlizzCon.

Pretty much sums it up. Minus the tasering of course.^^Ubergrog wrote...
A lot of you are looking to PAX for some semblence of salvation. The announcement the majority of us are hoping to come will almost certainly come there, while all the press is waiting for it.
Now, remember everyone, PAX is run by Penny Arcade. Enough has been stated on the creators of both Child's Play and PAX, let us focus on EA and Bioware.
What is your worst case scenareo?
Here is mine (and also what I actually think will happen).
The room is going to be filled with guards, probably one at every entrance and exit, with a few normal clothes guards in the audience. The first will be annoucements as to how great Mass Effect 3 has done at all major reviewing sites (we all know that huge kickbacks are given to all of these sites), and how many copies were sold.
The 'retake' effort will be brought up, but never mentioned by name. Something along the lines of "A few vocal critics" or "A vocal minority" will be mentioned, and the integrity of "video games as art" will be sounded off.
A fancy video will be played, showing off a multiplayer DLC which will introduce two or three new weapons, one or two new races for established classes. One or two new maps as well.
Question and answer session will go in one of three possible ways:
1. All questions will be written down ahead of time and put in a box, they will be reviewed and the 'softest' questions will be selected to be answered, none in the audience will be permitted to speak.
2. Plants in the audience will be selected, people who are known to the staff who were specifically flown out or hired to ask specific questions ("how did you get inspired to make the art for the game?" "What was your favorite moment"... you know, the useless questions that boil down to "Please pat yourself on the back for us").
3. Only the press will be allowed to ask questions, the same press that EA gives kickbacks to get better ratings on their games.
Anyone in the audience who speaks up will be probably met with overwhelming force from security. I know it may be extreme to say this, but I can forsee a tasering for asking "The wrong question."
Or worse, perhaps six burley guards mobbing one poor soul for asking "Why wasn't the ending more friendly to the color blind?"
IF questions are answered from the crowd, I expect answers like "I am not answering that question at this time" or "Clearly the ending went over your head".
Am I being pessimistic? hell yes. Tell us all your "worst case scenareos"!
But seriously, if questions are allowed, someone should have the guts to actually ask
"Why wasn't the ending more friendly to the color blind?". Would be hilarious.^^

Wrost case scenario is they tell us they'll 'explain' the ending to us with paid DLC because we just 'didn't get it'. At that point I'd probably snap the discs in half and mail it to BW with a note saying "Speculate on why this happened".

If I had a question i would ask them if they had played deus ex 1
I will actually be there and will be more than happy to ask that question.
PAX is totally sweet and if they say something along the lines of 'no questions about the ending', I'll have no problem getting up and leaving immediately. There's dozens of events happening at any given time and I don't want to waste time on anything irrelevant at the convention; if they announce something at the end of the panel or whatever you're not missing much since it'll be on the internet within seconds.
