What I would do: Have their team come out dressed in red, blue and green t-shirts, joke with the fans a bit and tell them they enjoyed the cupcakes, but without actually coming out with an admission that their endings were broken. Then announce the ending DLC together with the pre-ending DLC they have most likely been working on already, and show some videos of one or both of them followed by any multiplayer events they have coming up.
In the Q and A repeat that they listen to their fanbase, and have been poring over feedback from BSN and Twitter for weeks and trying to address as many suggestions as possible. State the endings will give more closure and make more sense, citing the most common issues that they will have identified from spreadhseeting all the feedback.
What the cynic in me expects: Completely skirt the issue and continue with their existing pre release schedule announcing pre ending DLC and/or multiplayer events.
If anyone brings up then endings in Q and A quickly stonewall it by repeating what was in Muzkya's blog about hearing more in April (he never said exactly when), and that something is in the works (but not saying what).
Pit of cynicism - any ending questions will be passed over and/or only audience plants will get to ask certain inane questions designed to paint a rosy picture of the series to the casual observer (but illicit completely useless answers for anyone who has already played the game).
What probably will happen: They come out with an announcement for ending DLC, citing popular but superficial concerns such as the confusion surrounding the Normandy, and tell the crowd they will add a few scenes to link it together. They then move along to their pre planned scedule and do their very best to direct all attention to that rather than endings, telling anyone who dares ask about them they have already gvien out all the information they can.

Worst case senario, Bioware uses plants to ask questions. and we get a DLC that tries to "explain" the ending. Rather than one that fixes it.
I remain optimistic though that they will do the right thing.
Unrelared but..
I read this in Farsnsworth's voice.

Something like this:
"Good news everyone - Starchild gets a Spacemagic-monologue to explain everything."
I read this in Farsnsworth's voice.
