Think about it! If the ending is changed and you get an ending with a little blue baby(ies). How cool it would be if a new Mass Effect game is made to take place a 100 years after and you can recruit Shepard's kid for a new adventure.

Liara stops the story just as Mordin is about to die and smiles because her little one is fast asleep tiny fingers gripping the stuffed grumpy looking dinosour Krogran and she turns kisses the child's brow... before she goes she turns to the nightstand and activates the project.... and it plays on just in case the child wakes in the night... she knows her daddy watches after her... always. She takes her leave.... wishing Shepherd could see the Little Wing that he/she had given her.

Yeah, I think the idea of adopting krogan babies with Garrus is pretty adorable too. I actually didn't think about Shepard and Garrus having kids until that was mentioned in the game, and it makes it that much crueler that it's not even an option.
