That would have been Bitter sweet... He's old, skin like dried out leather, his eyes no longer holding the fire they once had in his youth fighting for the sake of the galaxy, he can't breath so well anymore and the streangth she'd come to rely on can no longer hold him. She stands by his side watching their children, still children play without him. She knows that look on his face, he'd give anything to pay with them like he did when they crawled, she knows he feels so damned useless, she knows he thinks they're embarssed by him.. She takes his hand and kisses the back of it as if to say... "They know Love, they know." and he lets out a sigh, raspy and weak.... soon she worries, soon he'll leave her, she knows he doesn't want to go, she knows he can't stay.... her heart is breaking, its been this way for so long now.... she knew it'd be this way from the start, but she hopes he like  she.... has no regrets.

Yep. In Asari culture the non birthing parent is called the father, no matter what gender they are.

If femShep asked though I'm sure everyone would be happy to also call her the mother. I mean who would dare refuse a request like that after all she's done for the universe? 

Probably just a translation breakdown. Have to remember the Asari term for 'father' would be gender neutral, but it would make sense for it to be different from 'mother' since that's the one that actually passes on the genes.

Its funny.  I remember how much hostility there was toward the Talimancers awhile ago.

Now here we all are.  Fighting for the same thing with them.

Little blue kids? I guess you and me both. Officially what we're seeing is that they're not going to happen. Starkid is seeing to that. Bioware I guess decided to trash their most successful franchise with a turd of an ending and call it "art."
