The shoulder pieces that give a 10% damage bonus are also quite large.

No, it's the one you get for pre-ordering at specific places. Which bums me out, as I ordered before lists of pre-order bonuses for my country were published, so all I got was an Argus while a friend of mine got the Argus, the Valkyrie AND the Defender.ashwind wrote...

On-topic: I think it'll be the Hanhe-Kedar set. Bulkiest helmet is the Death Mask, I believe.

umm.. you can only get CE through Pre-Order so I think it goes without saying. I got mine from my CE.
On-topic: The Defender looks especially bulky if you put it on FemShep, she looks as big as Kaiden in his armor

Also if you feel like doing some coalesced editing, the helmet can be removed or changed on full body armors.

I agree with this one, i wasnt a fan of the shoulder plates but overal the set looks like a proper combat armor set

Personally I thought it was more Star Wars armour - it most reminded me of Boba Fett's mandalorian armour, with shiny rigid plates over a jumpsuit. Great if you like that type of thing, but I'm too used to ME's LED/Hardsuit vibe.
As for the bulkiest armour.... I would say Rosenkov. To be honest, I'm glad they made that armour the cooldown reducing armour, as it meant I didn't have to choose between my fave look and fave effect.
My personal choice was Rosenkov chestplate and gauntlets, Kuwashii Visor, Serrice shoulder pads and Kassa greaves. Looks really futuristic and bulky without looking like a battlemech a la N7 Defender armour. Plus the combination of stats is actually useful

As for bulky? I'd imagine Rosenkov is the bulkiest.

The Defender armor has nothing to do with the CE. It was a retailer-exclusive pre-order bonus. For America and iirc Canada it was for GameStop. For Europe I believe it was GAME.

...which is all kinds of F'ed up considering it's at least in my opinion the best armor for an infiltrator.
