 after the second play through i couldn't play agian. it just doesn't feel right. so disconnected from the game after that ending. i been spending my time playing skyrim or other games. i spend most of my time coming here or facebook talking to others who feel the same way.

Just right click the sig. Copy it. Then go to Forum Settings and paste. Forum settings should be under the profile tab. Then save. Welcome to the club. Hold the line!

I will continue to play through the classes. Although I plan to stop after the cerberus base. My ME2 saves contain a lot of different results for the companions and I want to see hoe it plays out. I consider ME3 to end at the base, so if an alternative ever surfaces I can pick it up there.

Yeah man I know how you feel. Still can't believe how Bioware dropped the ball this time around. One would have thought they would stick to the successful formula from ME1 and ME2, but noooo.

Same here......my other Sheps decided to retire from game.......which is a pity actually....for the last 2 months before ME3 was released all i was doing was talking about it....irl and in the online game i was playing...now i dont want to even think about it.......went back to GW.....

I played DAO for 8 months straight..never bored of it.......will replay it.......ME series? I doubt.......

Just started a third with a different character. Like usual I am just now finding out about stuff that I totally missed. I did stop playing my second before making the run to the beam. After seeing how stuff from the first two games was tied in I will go back to ME1 to do a fresh run but not sure when I will get to that.

I currently lack the desire to return to the ME franchise.

Angry Joe's intro to his ME3 review was pretty much my experience, too.

Here's to hoping that April's announcement at PAX, I assume(?), will reignite my interest.

Started a second playthrough, but stopped after hitting the Cerberus base. I guess I could've continued till Marauder Shields though.

The differences between a full renegade and a full paragon playthrough aren't too amazing...

It depends on what happens with the ending in April. If they in fact make the ending bearable, I will not only replay part 3, I will actually start another playthrough of the entire trilogy.

I havent played in weeks I stopped just before the beam on my second playthrough.
Heres why:

-Three games worth of allies and assets are nowhere to be found in the final battle.

-Starchild not Harbinger or TIM as main enemy?

-Nonsense from starchild " I kill you to save you"?!?!?!?!?!?!?

-Tri colored forced suicide.

Above all-- Bioware/EA and their refusal to man up and say "Sorry"

I do. In light of finishing ME3, I took a few days and started from Mass Effect 1. Now playing through number 2 and eagerly awaiting another playthrough of the third.

I want to. I had planned to go back and play the trilogy again but knowing that awful end is in store I just can't. For the longest I didn't even want to play video games in general until I played Minecraft for a few minutes yesterday. I finished on 3/10/12.....

I know that feel. There's no real victory at the end, nothing to work for. Yes you beat the reapers. But you do that regardless of how much time or effort you put in.

Had initially planned to a full new playthrough, ME 1 straight through to ME 3. But why bother..

I'll get invested in the characters, care about them, make hard decisions, build and foster relationships...all with the knowledge, in the end the board is wiped clean and starkid tells me i can pick my favorite color to see the Mass Effect universe burning while i die and my Love Interests teleports to Joker so they can repopulate their new paradise planet... No thx really.

To me, personally, ME 3 ending killed any replay value or interest in the series

It's taken me the better part of a week or two to regain any interest in gaming at all, let alone ME3; I've played a bit of multiplayer in that time, but only because friends physically came over to my house and were sitting right there... I'm not just gonna watch. But yeah. I've only touched the single player portion of the game once since completing it, and that was only to watch the one cutscene...

Curiously, though, this has actually inspired me to get back into Mass Effect as a whole, starting over from the beginning. My main character didn't romance anyone in the ME1 save I imported to ME2, and he stayed single there as well... almost continued that for 3, but, as you might be able to guess, I've taken a bit of a liking to Liara, and, well... ^^;; It's been bugging me a bit how much I've missed with her, though, so, I'm starting my character over, so he can romance her from the start. ...Hopefully they'll have fixed the endings by the time I finally get back around to ME3. If they haven't, I might play up to the Cerberus Headquarters, then just stop there... unless they decide they're not changing anything, in which case, I might be stopping a mite earlier. >>

TL:DR? No fixed endings? No additional playthroughs.

Off topic, but how's this playthrough going? I haven't played infiltrator in ME3 yet, other than in the demo.  I might try a close combat shotty infiltrator

I wanted to do an infiltrator playthrough after my glorious solider but every time I put it in... I stop... and go do something else... I feel like I should be playing mass effect... but this sadness kinda creeps up on me and I just can't... its like being with Prince Charming, but he goes and sleeps with Snow White.... but you love him... you want him to come back, apologize promise to never do it again...

I really hope DLC comes out and fixes this cause I really do want to love Mass Effect again...I'll take it back...
