Poor thing, must be tired of licking a PSP everyday.

You know, if Roger Ebert's (example) best friend was in a movie and he said it was the best movie of all time, his career would be trashed or at least his reputation. Video game reporter for IGN and G4 in a game is unheard of and not classy.

There's a reason a judge is not allowed to try his own child in court.  It's called conflict of intrest.

Bioware is more like Broware, now, I guess. Chobot, Freddy Prinze Jr, multiplayer and a complete betrayal of the SP fans. The 'classy' people are in charge now, children. You did good getting it this far, but they'll take it from here.

I don't particularly care for Vega, but I see nothing wrong with the addition of Prinze Jr. He doesn't represent a conflict of interest, seems to legitimately care about the series, and most importantly, can actually voice act worth a damn.

Diana Allers in the game = Good reviews from IGN,

Why couldn't we have Emily wong instead of her? Why did bioware kill Wong?

It's only fanservice if people were demanding chobot to be introduced as a character in the game.

"Fanservice" in the sense that it's another "hot" chick that the player can potentially bone and/or ogle.

ashely/liara/Tali/Miranda/Jack/Traynor/Femshep are hot, why can't we have more "fanservice" about them?

BTW, have you guys seen Traynor's VA? she's way more hotter than Chobot...

Considering that I'm not attracted to women, the concept of making the characters sexy sex isn't exactly appealing to me. Real fanservice would be giving those characters more development and screen time.

She's there because someone felt that the game needed some piece of eyecandy, like Megan Fox or that chick who replaced Megan Fox.

Funny thing that.

She isn't terribly too good looking in real life, but her in-game model is just a soulless montrosity of creepiness.

This is the girl below here that isn't terribly too good looking in real life?
I'll have to wonder what standard you're used to calling good looking. Either that or it's HaterAide and her dogs got to you on her lawn before you could get back to the proper side of her fence. She's very pretty.

Similar to Yyvonne/Miranda though, they ended up getting me as far as "oh ya I see" but then limitations of the engine cause them to fall short, particularly at certain angles and under certain lighting. The character was sort of unnecessary too, but as annoyed as I am with Bioware over several things with this game, I can't understand why anyone would dislike this girl. Is she a moron or something?

I find chobot to be quite ugly. Problem?

Is this your attempt to sound tough, or hipsterish for whatever reason? Because when I read it I see either comic book guy from The Simpsons, or Trollface from 4chan, and I know that were I in your shoes I'd appreciate someone letting me know before I found out the hard way that even women were cracking up.

Anyways, I actually came back on to reply to someone else I was talking to about this, when I asked if this woman was a moron. Thanks to what I read of her statements concerning the ME3 faithful who are not happy with the cheapness and whatnot of the ME3 ending, I can answer my own question. She is very much a moron. All of that mumbo jumbo she talked in interviews about her concern for the fanbase and whatnot looks absurd after hearing how fast she towed the party line on this issue. Brains would have told her to keep quiet or if she had to say something, to simply express sorrow that some were not happy.

Oh well. At least she can't claim I started out biased against her participation. She got me there all on her own.

-Seriously... She supposedly has a job where she is to write for a living... and then she writes this:

So, rather than write out a HUMUNGO blog post full of letters and shizz (...)

-That is so mindboggling inane it reeks to high heaven of incompetence. She is paid to write blogs "full of letters"... What is she? 12?

I wish Zaeed visited Normandy in some DLC and went "Good to see you again Shepard. Who's this? Get the hell out my room!"

Allers could then move her stuff down to that dark corner where Jack used to sod. Zaeed is my new reporter/soldier/LI/XO/Middle hand with mercenaries

Bioware: "When our customers learned there was more to our games than they imagined, there were some who thought Felicia Day shouldn't have been in DA2 DLC...they were scared of what they would find...terrified of what "celebrity's" we might bring in next. But look at what Bioware has achieved, since that discovery Jessica Chobot is now in ME3...and she will provide more sales for us by the thousands, this is the way Bioware must evolve"

Customer: "There's always another way"

Why not Emily Wong or Khalisah Al-Jiani? Getting on Khalisah's good side or butting heads with her on the Normandy could have been sweet. Emily Wong would have been awesome too, since we actually know her.

Instead we get an sub-average looking newcomer with a fairly dry personality. I mean, I didn't hate her or think she detracted from the game. I appreciated any time I talked to her actually since it felt like a legitimate link to everyone looking up to Shepard.

As a person, though, I didn't connect with her nearly as much as the other two reporters.

Diana Allers has no personality you say? Well that's to be expected because Chobot (whom Allers is a insert of) isn't didn't make herself renown for that or any knowledge on gaming.

Doesn't strike me as someone who was hired for competence. Not as a journalist. That guy in the back? Editor of IGN IIRC.

It's kind of funny at this point how BW seems incapable of reproducing famous pretty faces. They did well with Jillian Murray (Liara) and Rana (Morinth), but other than that, they generally do better if they DON'T have a model. I happen to think both Jessica Chobot and (much more so) Yvonne Strahovski are hot in real life, but their ME counterparts... ew.
