Why not Emily Wong or Khalisah Al-Jiani? Getting on Khalisah's good side or butting heads with her on the Normandy could have been sweet. Emily Wong would have been awesome too, since we actually know her.

Instead we get an sub-average looking newcomer with a fairly dry personality. I mean, I didn't hate her or think she detracted from the game. I appreciated any time I talked to her actually since it felt like a legitimate link to everyone looking up to Shepard.

As a person, though, I didn't connect with her nearly as much as the other two reporters.

I have wondered why we didn't get Emily Wong, and why we don't hear/see her on the Citadel. Good Catch.

Traynor talks to her if nothing else. She was chatting up Allers twice when I visited. Not in person but over intercom.

In case you don't know, Diana Allers is based on and voiced by one Jessica Chobot, a "correspondent" for IGN.com. I saw her enough on my Xbox Dashboard involuntarily to know who she is. I watch G4TV X-Play and Adam Sessler's wit and take on games. BUT...His Soapbox about the Ending seemed less than valid. I want to believe the best in people but both IGN and Sessler's soap box pointed out we should accept the ending. I hope they weren't  'Forced' to praise the ending.

Same here. I like Sessler but I so disagree with what he said and no I don't watch G4 (Techtv we miss you) or care for IGN.

And guys it's not nice to make fun of special people.

Just because she's kind of popular and I guess people think she's hot. Most major characters in Mass Effect are based on actual people, I'm surprised the tinfoil hats go on for something like this.

Although, I will acknowledge the huge conflict of interest when IGN let Chobot preview Mass Effect 3, knowing full well she was in the game. But to cite IGN for lacking Journalistic Integrity would be a never ending tail.

I read this article.  What was funny was that Sessler and this other guy chose the "wrong" endings.  the blue and the green.  they just got trolled by bioware
