Even old adventure books where you flip to a page based on you decisions had more varied endings. Chrono trigger had more varied ending, and recently FFXIII-2 has varied endings too.
If you show the ending to anyone that didn't play the game, right of the bat they would say its like a copy and paste. Just tweak minor images here, colour differently and bam! I have 3 endings.
Do you feel, as a visual stand point, ignoring plot holes and stuff , is lazy?
