There was no visible connection error anywhere at any time during the following, only the occasional lag stutter, the hardly noticeable kind.
Up to around Wave 5 in a four player match everything was normal, then one player got stuck in the ceiling. Yes, really. But was apparently able to kill things across the map and otherwise behave normally (minus moving), but could not operate any devices and was also untouchable but drew nearly 100% off enemy fire. The other two and I appeared to have insta-charging shields, and could still pick up ammo and fight/operate normally. We were all still killable by Banshee's and Brutes in the end.
We almost all died on the last wave, which we didn't realize we were on because the wave counter had stopped displaying and we didn't get any notification until we were told to extract.
There also seemed to be a disproportionately high number of Reapers spawning after that. I'm not sure what the standard amount is for Challenge:Silver and Reapers on Firebase: Dagger, but per wave after the one guy was stuck in the ceiling there were at least 20-30+ Husks and Cannibals each(probably more), 10-20+ Mauraders, 5/6 Brutes, 4 Banshee's, and somewhere around 5-7 Ravagers, which was easily double the density of the previous waves and it appeared to increase from there rather dramatically(someone check me, haven't played many Silver Reaper matches)?
The point is were I not a Sentinel that match I wouldn't have been able to move across the map at all and if anyone else hadn't had grenades we probably wouldn't have made it to Wave 10 to witness all the ridiculousness. The AI was packed super-densely and continuing to enter and filling up the rooms in an almost endless stream. Easily a third to half the map floorspace could have been packed with various Reaper AI.
We still got normal credit payouts, though the Experience payout seemed somewhat higher than normal (due to the massive overspawning?!).Wish I could append a screenshot, but I was afraid of something more going terribly wrong. And somewhat frantically trying to survive.
The most messed up MP match I have yet to see anywhere?
