this morning when I awoke. I decide hey lets install Mass Effect 3 Disc 1 while I try and get out of bed seeing that my xbox and tv remotes are very close to me in my bed. after playing all day. I had to switch to game disc 2 and for the rest of the day I dident have to switch discs. Not back to Disc 1 for priority missions I stayed on the game disc 2 and I felt really great about it. it made my experience of the game that much better unlike with Mass Effect 2 the disc switching kind of killed it. but by installing the game it made everything so much better. I <3 Bioware for allowing this.

I think you have to put in disc one for the final mission

If you only do priority missions up until the first disc swap (tuchanka), then you'll only need to swap discs once again at the end. steer clear of all the side missions until that point to minimize swapping.

But if you don't do side missions they fail....

The things I did was i installed disc 1 and for both priority and side missions I dident have to switch discs. after doing the install. the last time i switched was before the final mission. after that I never had to switch discs.

No, they won't. You shouldn't lose a single side mission by doing this. I don't, anyways. You play up to (not including Tuchanka), then swap discs and do all the side missions, then do Tuchanka.

I think the scan and fetch quests will fail but you shouldn't lose any actual go and shoot stuff missions.

I would happily pay little extra to have no-disc experience.. even if you install both discs it occasionally wants the discs switched. I guess it's just silly DRM check it does, but still... I already paid for it and still not trusted..
