I wouldnt stop or even try to convince anyone not to follow their heart. Go for it. Quarian, krogan, asari... go for it.
I can find someone aesthetically pleasing without wanting to be with them or procreated with them. I woulndt mind alien friends or inlaws. Hell... would be interesting and funny, to some extent.
Just wouldnt be my choise. I dont like blondes either and I live in the natural blonde paradise of the world, Scandinavia. I can still find a blonde pleasing to the eye though.

But if I were single I wouldn't have a problem with it. But just like with human women, it would all depend on the person and whether or not there was compatibility.

Absolutely not. I would not soil my race with their filth. Their end-game is to destroy all non-asari through cultural and genetic assimilation. I would never assist in that.
-Well played.

Yeah. Been wondering what those hair tentacles feel like for awhile now.
They feel like cartilage! At least, thats what I took away from Liara's explanation to Joker.
But never forget, it is all based on Space Magic anyways!

We share the same mind, my dear friend!Anada_Rey wrote...
Is this question specifically for female gamers? I mean, suppose if it were not, you would include the quarian into the equation. But I guess you wanted to adress the discomfort general public would show if they saw an alien/human s/s couple.
Anyway, to answer your question. Yes, I would. It wouldn't be the first time I would face discrimination, but I really don't care what some stranger thinks about me.
Now to elaborate on the subject. I agree with True Zarken on the topic of Asari philosophical approach to relationships, and I find it one of the most interesting subjects to explore. Example - if you have a Liara-Kaidan/Ashley clash in ME, Liara would be the one to stay by your side, and it that case, she was the more mature one. Not to mention the idea of cherishing each moment with your loved ones, instead of worrying they might die of old age in 30 years. Just imagine how much maturity, insight into relationships and wisdom you could achieve in a span of 1000 years.
I'd like to learn more about their culture and I really hope Bioware will expand on the subject in the future.
Also, there's simply no better way to understand a mind meld than to experience it
Usually in my real life I don't care what others think of my life, it's mine to live and those who don't like my attitude or character, well, they can go other way, I wouldn't hate them for that (frankly, I'm not capable to hate anyway). That's the way I see the world around me. Just being a female in this world gave me sometimes enough troubles (I don't like that, but I manage to live a decent life and kick those trouble(makers) in their teeth easy and hard because I have my right to live just like they do). I don't care about other people traditions, I make my own, but I respect others. And learning new things and put them to life, that's a thing that makes a great part of my life.
Yes, I would date an Asari, open and public, free of any fears and delusions.
I think most people would not agree with me, but as I said, it's their problem, not mine.
Love is love, no matter the gender. Love is an emotion, the most powerfull one in this universe. I kinda feel sorry for those people who waste their precious time in hate, with closed mind and never see & feel the brilliance of that pure (love) emotion itself.
You have 2 adults capable to love, then, why not?
Hell yeah, Asari are soooo interesting...... <3:kissing:

Settle down with; no.
Your children would be 100% Asari. Basically your family bloodline ends with you.

According to the ME lore they dont give a f*ck about what race their partner is as long as it is a snetient being with a personality you can fall in love with. They seem not to really care about looks. Which is of course understandable - if your entire species and you yourself have the bodies of a topmodel by default an "ugly" partner would probably be a pleasant change of pace.

-Pros: Ofspring lives a millenia.
-Cons: Ofspring isnt yours in a traditional biological sense and the ofspring wouldnt really resemble you.
I've been put on this planet to procreate and have the best possible time whilst Im here. Plus nothing boosts your ego more than seeing your own ofspring and especially the resemblence it has to you. So no. I would not date an Asari or any other alien species that differed significantly from mine. Which would likely be all of them.

Plus, I'd imagine with singularity and other biotic powers she'd have no trouble cleaning the house.
