I pretty much do all of these or do my best to every round, I play as a human soldier with a Revenant X and a Phalanx X. If it needs a rocket to the face it gets a rocket to the face, if it needs to be riddled with up to 120 rounds from my Revenant it gets up to 120 rounds from my Revenant. If you need a revive I do what I can to make it happen, you get pinned down I do my best to take the pressure off of you.
Hardly anyone notices that I do these things unless I pull off somthing very badass like capturing the points after everyone is out and taking out the rest of the foes. I don't always score the highest but I make the big plays when it counts. This combination should be called the Unsung Badass.
You can't tell if someone is at first glace but when you see their actions there is no doubt that there is more then meets the eye with this player.

The No Man Left Behind: Trying his best to revive you even after wave 10 objective has been completed or 10s left for extraction.
The Ruthless: Doesnt care if his teammate down or not. As long as objective completed and enemies annihilated hes a happy fella.

This person knows the maps, has learned them very quickly, understands how the enemy spawns work and how being in the right place at wave start, stops certain spawn points from being used. This one also knows the best points to hold up in, which doorways to stack up on, and the best vantage points to surpress and control an area. Race and class don't matter, this guy is packing precision firepower and uses it very effectively - though the scoreboard won't always attest to that.
Most players might think this one unskilled, unwilling to get into the fight, or maybe even a form of leech, but this is the person that just saved you from being executed by a Trooper, from the other side of the map with a single shot, or took down that damned turret that killed you, and then killed you again after you revived.
You got to sympathise with this one often, watching their team-mates run into the middle of open spaces in maps, or running straight through the reactor at the start of the match, as they realise that not only do they have to cover these guys, more than likely, they also just got promoted to the teams combat medic-crossed-with-100m sprint athlete, while dodging more flak than was seen during the Battle of Britain!

I always believed they were stupid but now I just blame lag (few times I have seen people standing just next of objective but still magically capping it).GracefulChicken wrote...

this type usually scrambles the team forcing them to find any enemy to kill available. Using Bio Charge to zip through the map stasis to take on full groups of enemies alone, a shotgun to level anyone foolish enough to get in their way and lift grenades to pummel scattered enemies, stealing kills and forcing team mates to get out of that comfortable area of cover they've decided to cling to in order to make a decent kill quota each round. "Kill it or I'll kill it for you!" I don't need you to complete this mission but you're welcome to come along for the ride.
They've played enough to purchase quite a large amount of spectre packs so they have enough medigel and rockets to take on anything that comes their way. Unstoppable on bronze, key player on silver, and making a name for him/herself on gold.
Probably beaten ME1 2 and 3 on Insanity so things seem to pale in comparison.

The Organic Geth Hunter

Before the veil of death covers your eyes, you can see a salarian infiltrator holding a Geth Plasma shotgun appearing out of nowhere...
That's me, coupled with Altruistic, unless you died because you charged off to the other side of the map to try and punch a banshee, in which case I'll leave you to die, or I'm capping an objective, in which case it's someone else's job. That and what I call:
The Line-Holder
He's that guy that finds the weakest part of the line and holds it at all costs, whether it's a team mate being over-run or the ignored flank, that's where you'll find him. Often mistaken for the Lone Wolf or Kill Stealer, he'll spend most of his time making sure that escape route remains clear, seemingly indifferent to the actions of the team as a whole, but once trouble rears it's head and threatens his allies, he appears by their side almost instantaneously to save the day, before returning to his post on the flank.
And this would lead me to believe (if I could actually see the results) that I also end up also being the "Where Did He Go?" guy a lot of the time.

How do you call a rez pony who constantly saves the day, carriyng pubbies and entire waves on Gold all alone? Even in friend lobbies I often end up having 100k+ score. Sometimes the difference with the 2nd guy on the scoreboard can exceed even 50k.
I'm a Salarian Infiltrator btw. There were only two guys since the launch of the game who had been able to beat me on the scoreboard. One was a Human Infiltrator with a Black Widow X and a Geth Shotgun X(this match took place not long after the release of the game, so it's kinda blatantly obvious how he obtained a maxed N7 weapon) - 10k difference, and the other was also a SI, but with a BW II with mods and lvl III ammo/stuff(have a bunch of this and never use it) - 20k difference, but he went up ahead only on the 9th wave(before that we were nearly on pair with a varying 1-2k differences).
P.S. Pretty sure a really good Asari Adept could kick my ass, but for that, she'd have to max out all her abilities going for the biotic explosions options, and leave Fitness aside completely. Having a low health/shields on Gold would keep her in cover too much though.
Zomg you so badass, can I haz an autograph?

_ Quarian Engineer with Cryo synergy for the team.
_ Turian Sentinel with Warp/Overload perked for comboes, 200% weight bonus and siwtching ammo depending of the enemy. Provide CC, never die, paint targets so Adept/Vanguard/Engineer can blow it up.
_ Quarian Infiltrator to take out bosses, sabotage Pyroes/Hunters going for teammates, revive them and capture points.
I'm more of a number two kind of guy who feels more gratified by overall success than personal-pride related things. Support all the way !

Lacking a mic, or just not wishing to talk, this player instead celebrates completing a hard-fought wave by vigorously punching the air until the next wave starts.
Bonus points if the other players catch on, all happily clubbing away at each other between rounds.
The I'm Staying Here Guy
Extraction is for wimps. This player wants to get that nice shiny 75 Assault Rifle Kills mark, and doesn't want to waste time running to leave. You losers can all take your Partial Extraction reward and like it, I'm going to get that Grab kill.
