So, I'm new to modding and got a question regarding adding weapons to SP using Gibbed as it's hard to find exact info, as this topic is so large. Is editing save file with Gibbed simply enough to get all weapons, with them working properly or do I need to get the other tool and edit coalesced as well, in order to get them? I want to add to one of my playthroughs weapons such as Valkyrie, Raider, Collector Rifle and MP weapons from Resurgence pack (only them as I learned from here, those from Rebellion don't work anyway) plus N7 Defender armour (didn't have this pre-order stuff, but I own already other N7 weapons by buying CE).

You can do this via Gibbeds. But I actually don't know how because I don't use the SE.
Furthermore this always feels a little bit like cheating to me.

I'd advise you to add the guns to a store via coalesced editing and the armor to your locker via coalesced editing. 
If you want to proceed with Gibbeds, I'll let this question open, if you'd like to do it via coalesced, give the call and I'll make a post how to.

Open Gibbed, open the save you want to edit, go to the Raw tab, under player variables click the collection button, then click add and input these lines(and change the value to whatever level you want the gun to be(1-10)). You have to do each weapon you want individually but it only takes a few minutes to add every weapon.

For the armor and armor parts there's a tab in the ME3 section of the latest version of Gibbed that lets you add  all the armor you want. You can click the "Debug" button to add more casual outfits. Have fun.

Thanks man, this will help me. I have one minor question: are the weapon ranks correctly reflected in the store and/or during mission pickups. For example: if I add one of the weapons you pick up during mission with, let's say with rank 5, will the store display rank 6 upgrade and mission pickups will upgrade this weapon just like in normal second playthrough? Or if I pick up the same weapon while having rank 10, nothing will happen (no bugs associated with it)?

If the gun is already at rank 10(or rank 5 on a first playthrough) it just won't show up on the mission. If the gun is below a purchasable level it will show up in the shop at the next rank. If you're on a second playthrough and have all the guns you add this way at rank 5 then they will be in the store at rank 6. But you may as well make them all rank 10 when you add them.

anybody know if it is possible to add in the squad armor for kaidan ashley and liara that you get fromt he collectors edition without getting the collector's edition? specifically for gibbed xbox360

one question, when using gib to change a weapons level to 10, does it actually effect the stats? or do i really have to purchase the upgrade in order for it to work.

Actually, it comes with the dlc for from ashes with javik (if i remember reading somewhere correctly) . If you don't have the dlc then it is not possible.

For the 360, can you mod certain points using Gibbs that allow you to speed rush through the game? Example, in ME2 you could unlock the Suicide Mission immediately after the prologue with the proper edits. Is something like this possible for ME3?

The alt outfits that come with the From Ashes DLC are different from the CE outfits.

Noticed some more talk about ME Explorer a few pages back. Has anybody yet successfully managed to use it to replace an in-game mesh, texture or SFX with a different one? Or is it still all theory and planning at this point?

Is it possible to add a weapon to a category that is not its own ? I mean for example adding a specific shotgun to the pistol slot.. ?

I'm hoping someone can help me find an anim file (psa) for the Asari dancers on the moving platforms and casual dancers in Purgatory bar on the citadel; I've got all the models I need so far, I'm making an film like animated scene of the crew of the normandy and all notable characters blowing off steam.
So if anyone knows the name of those files, or where they are, or how to get them, I would be very grateful :)

I want to make custom shepard face by using sheploo textures but I can't find codes for these textures. If someone could provide me texture codes for HED_Diff etc I would really appreciate it.

The best you can do is just try. Make a backup, if it doesn't work, restore. It was possible for ME2.

Why don't you use Texmod to find out? Load your Shep, press the filter hotkey, browse the textures til the green layer is on the face. Save and exit. Or are you looking for the exact texture code from inside the .pccs?

Is there any way to make Zaeed, Jacob, jack, grunt and Miranda playable in ME3? Most end up just being fixtures on the citidal. I play ME 3 on 360 (so its probably not doible) but I'd be curious to see if PC users are able.
Also I havent asked this in a while but has anyone been able to remove the helmet off the N7 defender armor (for xbox 360) while in combat or alternatives to that would be posibly adding "default off" to Shepard narritive under options or if someone has the bool id for the defualt n7 helmet; my thought is if the helmet has a bool id by seting it to false in gibbed editor it would remove it from the N7 defender armor. Another thought is during one of sheps dreams I had the n7 armor on and the helmet was gone pehsps the bool id is there for that armor. (minus the helmet)...?

The best you could hope for would be just a simple reskinning of existing squad members with the meshes of the characters you want. Since those characters have no voice work for dialogue outisde the few scenes they're in they would have other character's voices.

Why don't you use Texmod to find out? Load your Shep, press the filter hotkey, browse the textures til the green layer is on the face. Save and exit. Or are you looking for the exact texture code from inside the .pccs?

This may have already been mentioned, but I couldn't find it.

How do you change the "default" outfits of your squadmates i.e. the casual wear they strut about in on the Normandy and the Citadel? I'd imagine it's possible.... Maybe I just glossed over it?

What's the line for Javik's Particle Rifle? Couldn't find it's line in save editor and I want to boost the weapon level up to 10, since after editing save it's the only weapon I have that is still level 5.

that missing file is stored on the me3 server.  Its why its not there and is why we cant add the weapons :(
