What's the word on the extended Cut DLC? Did it live up to everyone's expectation or did it fail and Bioware will simply not do any more DLC after that? :?

You know you're already on a forum where you can find a thread for that specific topic in 4 seconds, right?

How do you add ME2 romances to a ME3 save? My Sheploo that romanced Jack is corrupted(wtf?) so I want to change a different Sheploo to have a romance with Jack.

Please check the OP.

Is there a way to change whether KAidan or Ashley is in your game mid game with gibbed's editor? I changed the bools suggested in this thread and it did jack. Alternately, is there a way to add the Barrier Bonus power to your game without altering your coalesced?

Only the bool variables for ME3 romances are in the OP.

From the plot code list that's posted in the OP.
JackRomanced, PlotIDSet=(5208), PlotIDClear=(), PlotInts=((ID=213,V=5)),PlotCond=((C=236,T=778),(C=232,T=776))

Now someone answer my question! :wizard:

I have no idea what to do with that...

But you can change the VS with Gibbed quite easily. Open the ME1 tab and change the story flag from one to the other. Then open the ME3 tab and change the "acquired" one from one to the other. I've done it successfully that way, but if you're past the point of getting the VS back in your party it stops working.

Has anyone figured out how to improve Shepard's movement/sprint speed using the ME3 Coalesced Utility?

Can someone tell me how to set the vindicator to full automatic?
or is it possible in ME3 Coalesced.bin?
I've found this message with google on a forum:

U must remove the line for roundsperburst and minrefiretime. i've done it for both the mattock and saber. Also the value for lazyrateoffire line must be equal to the value of rateoffire. I've tested this for claymore shotgun, black widow, mattock and m99 saber.

The weapons must have these lines:
lazyrateoffire (equal value as rate of fire for it to work)
And this line must be deleted:
roundperburst

It works for me and it also should for u guys.

Not likely. Gibbed's is an .exe which don't work usually on Unix.

However, you can run Parallels VM and launch Windows in that. Then you'd be able to run gibbed.

Or install boot camp and dual boot both Windows and OS X.

I seem to be missing something. Any change I make will not $#&@ing stay. I go to the section, I type in the new value, and the moment I leave *poof* it's GONE.

Some question about the complete theme Modding etc.

If I buy the Unreal engine (5,000 $)
It is possible for me to modify the Mass Effect Trilogy?

And then I can publish my content
even if I publish it as a mod?

I read through the thread, but have some questions specifically about modding weapon stats via coalesced.

Most people seem to say to keep an original version of the coalesced available for when you enter multiplayer. My first question is when does it check the coalesced for modding? Only when you enter Multiplayer from the main menu? Or do you have to run the game offline the whole time for the modded file?

The next question would be more specific. Say I wanted to mod the Viper so it is more similar to the way it worked in ME2. I have looked at the stats in the coalesced file and it is of course the single player stats and has not been updated via balance changes. So the next question is how does coalesced actually interact with the multiplayer stats? Is MP actually referencing the original stats then getting overrides from the EA servers for update changes? If I am not hosting a game does it ever use my coalesced file at all?

The coalesced.bin is read at game load. It can't be changed after this point. You need to have either your modded or original coalesced.bin file in place before you start the game. If you make a backup then you have two. One you mod and one you don't touch. A simple rename for the appropriate game mode is then all you need to do BEFORE YOU START ME3. No need to be offline or anything else.

My question was more of when their anti-cheat measures compare the coalesced to look for MP cheating.  So I assume that only happens when you either start MP or host a game yourself?

Also still wonder why weapon stats in coalesced matter for MP since they don't seem to be the same as the balance changed stats that are actually in for MP.

Hello! First I want to say a big thanks for this thread to snfonseka . You made a huge work!
But I have a problem with TIM eyes. Its doesn't work.. I read twice and make everything just like it write, but the eye color is changed completely and glowing so brightly.
I found one image and fall in love with those TIM eyes.

Can anyone please help me to make the same eyes for my Shepard?

There isn't any anti-cheat system. The only "anti cheat" is players observing that you have modded weapons and such. So the only way you could get banned for a modded coalesced is when players report you. It is still a good idea to play with the original Coalesced, as other players will also have the modded stats that you changed if you are host.

As for the stats for powers, weapons, etc.

server, it uses that.

Folks, I'm hoping you might be able to help me with a quick problem trying to recreate my original Shepard.  Using the ME:3 save editor, what portion to I modify to change the color of the eye brow? Everytime I go into the appearances section and try to change the color there, my Shepard always looks like something from a Stephen King film...

Any suggestions?
