I don't know if anyone asked this before, but I was wondering if there was some way to turn off the tech armor graphics for the Sentinel class? It's my favorite class all in all, but the graphic overlay on my armor bugs me to no end.

I think he means the actual weapon mods added in the Earth DLC(omni-blade for AR, ULM for pistol, etc. 
If I'm correct in his intent, I haven't seen mention of it being attempted anywhere.

Hey there, quick question, didn't wanna shift through 42 pages to find an answer.

So I started a new file from scratch and tried making all the squaddies available from the getgo. I extracted my save and set the "XXXX Aquired" flags for EVERYONE, Liara, James, Ashley, Kaiden, Edi, Javik, Garrus, Tali. But when I went into my game, Ash and Kai weren't available, although the others all were. Anyone know why this is?

This is the Xbox version btw.

You're confusing the game. You can't have Ashley and Kaiden. Pick one.

You're confusing the game. You can't have Ashley and Kaiden. Pick one.


So Ash and Kai share some sort of code, then? I figured, Squadwise, that it wouldn't matter, since it's possible to have them both in your active squad at once. Thought they were two seperate characters entirely.

Storywise It seems like it wouldn't matter, since my game is still acting as though Ash is dead anything that Specificly calls for that flag.

They can't be added to SP, none of the MP DLC content can be added to SP due to the checks the game does when it connects. The only possibly solution is a new edition of ME3 Tools thats currently in Beta which allows you to edit the details of the .PCC contents.

 So, update on my previous question:

I tried a later file and for some reason, it showed the whole team on the squad select. I'm guessing there's some sort of plot-related flag preventing either of them from showing at some point, I dunno.

But as you can tell, both Kaidan and Tali are unselectable (Tali died in this play because I messed up). I'm guessing there's a different flag for a characters selectablity rather then availability? Don't see why they would even use it for anyone but Javic, but whatev.

So any chance anyone knows what the bool is for their selectability?

The flag is probably an error check, because the animations, movements, and plot used for Ashley and Kaidan are exactly the same. I imagine if you ever broke that error check, you'd have conflicts in code all over the place.

I'm not entirely sure of that. From what I'm seeing, it seems that Plot characters and Squad characters are use different flags. Cutscene and plot related stuff seems to rely on the Virmire flags, which I still have set to Ashley is dead, so it still defaults to kaidan. Dispite this, Ashley is selectable on the squad screen, while Kai is not.

However, looking at the OP, I checked the bool value for "Kaidan is dead" and it was set to true. Dispite this, the game, cutscene and plot wise, was STILL acting as though Ashley was dead, so I'm guessing that particular flag as for squadmates. I just switched that value to "false" and I'm about to test it.

:Edit:...huh. That is weird. I set the "kaidan is dead" flag top false. No change in the squaddies, but now, plotwise, the game is acting as though Kai died on Virmire and Ashley is still alive. Not sure what to make of that...

:Edit2: Wait wait, I read the OP wrong. It's a "Kaidan is ALIVE" flag, setting that to false means Kaidan does on Virmire, so that one IS a plot related flag. Hrrmmm...

:Edit3: Ugh. There are just too many Bools and no way to know what they all do. Only thing I can think of is comparing save files both brefore and after Palaven, and seeing what changes to see where the selectability values are. (All characters except Liara and James are unavailable before that mission, even if added to the screen, so.) But there's no way to compare those either. Blaaaaagh.

Not true, I just added the Ressurgence weapons. Kishock sniper, geth smg based on some codes I found around here.


Try to read the most recent few pages of the topic in the future before making requests. The main page doesn't get updated very often so checking a few pages will save you some time.
With Rebellion they changed the weapons. Only the skins are actually downloaded with the DLC and the actual data for the guns is stored on EA's servers and thus only usable in MP. I was just hoping beyond hope that they didn't do this with the Earth weapons/mods.

How do you add the Resurgence Weapons to the Spectre Requisitions? I already know the Gibbed way of adding in weapons, but I want to purchase the weapons and upgrade them just like any other weapon.

Find (ItemType=TYPE_QUEST,BaseCost=1000,PlotUnlockConditionalID=2647,PlotPurchaseID[0]=19616,ChoiceEntry=(srChoiceName=713345,srChoiceDescription=713374),SmallImage="GUI_Icons.Notifications.NT_Store_256x1286")

This is the last entry of the Spectre store. Now add:

(Ash shows in the refugee came while Kaiden in the cafe, ect ect.) I'll get back to you guys on that one.

Obviously what happened here is that there was that Kaidan from another Universe somehow wound up in another Universe.

That's why Kaidan Alenko and Ashley Williams are both in the same squad.

Either that, or Jenkins managed to survive Eden Prime only to be sacrificed on Virmire.

Hello all. I have been modding the coalseced files so that I am able to add and use the ammo powers without needing to upgrade them every time I move into a new level. I have been successful with both cryo ammo and disrupted ammo, but have reaced a stumbling block on the incendiary ammo. I added a brief description of what I changed so far in the coalseced file below.

I added in the keybindings:
 
bioinput.ini > engine > playerinput > bindings = (multiple)
 ( Name="NumPadNine", Command="givepower self cryoammo" ) 
 ( Name="NumPadSix", Command="givepower self incendiaryammo" ) 
 ( Name="NumPadThree", Command="givepower self disrupterammo" )

Then I changed the attributes to the powers. I was successful in modifying both cryo and disrupter ammo to be the level six equivalent at level 1.

My problem comes with incendiary ammo. Changing the headshot and damage bonuses was easy. However, trying to change the burst effect has given me problems. Normally there is either some line that I can mod available at level 1 or the power is listed under "evolve_..." heading. The lines that effect the burst have neither. Can anyone help me and let me know what I have to do to make it so that the burst feature is unlocked at the level one evolution? Thanks.

And yeah, the whole "store the info on our remote servers" thing seems like a smart idea to save space... Shame it hurts the mod community, eh?

I can't remember the exact numbers but in Gibbed Ashs' true flag is the false flag for Kaiden and vise versa.

This may leads to game crach and sometimes results currupted save files (after the crach you cannot load any of the save files).
