And yeah, the whole "store the info on our remote servers" thing seems like a smart idea to save space... Shame it hurts the mod community, eh?

It's much more likely that they did it sell the weapons as a SP weapons pack later.

So, I don't suppose anyone has figured out how to get this beauty:

Into single player? It's just so gosh-darn awesome.

what i *really* want is this jumpsuit back:

and i know it's in the game, since you do see it from time to time on the asari.

Any thoughts?

I only came across one freeze, after I watched the ending. Got the standard "Thank you" message from bioware, then...well, "freeze" isn't the right term, it just refused to load everything after that, has to exit to the dashboard and restart from there.

Didn't corrupt the save though. Started a new game plus with it and everything's going smoothly.

Theorizing here, but the model and textures for the multiplayer looks shouldn't be hard to get in SP game. The only problem with them is that they are designed specfically to look that way, height and all. So it won't mold to the shape of your shepherd, and it will probably all be one piece of armor, as a model. So you won't be able to have it helmetless.

In saying all this, it would be easy. You'd probably have to use texmod.

Knock yourself out then, or all that's baseless conjecture. I'm sure you mean well, but misinformation is bad information. No offence, but if it was easy or possible, trust me, it'd been done already.

Yep.

In all seriousness, if someone figures this out I will bake them an f-n cake.

To elaborate.  There are a few problems, and you got at least one of them correct.

1.  The multiplayer meshes are a single piece, helmet is included.

2.  The game only loads the packages it needs.  They removed the loadlevel command that was in ME2 that allowed using armor from squadmate and NPC packages.  It is no more.  I have not seen a workaround for this yet.

3.  Texmod is a moot point (see #2) and also because ME3 doesn't use a regular diffuse map for ie the old medium armors - if you look at it, it's a RGB color map that color codes the armor and it's hardcoded.  The multiplayer armor uses the same tone maps that the N7 armors use, so if you added it in it would be monotone grey.

Short answer - no one's figured it out yet.  It might not be possible.

In ME2 if you did something like add an armor that wasn't loaded, it would just not show up or default to something else.  In ME3 the game will just crash.  Every.  Single.  Time.  Even if for example, Liara is in your party and all her levels are loaded, trying to mod her armor onto femshep will make the game crash.  So it's not a simple fix.

Hi, new user to the save editor.

Ive figured out some correctly use some of the basics however there are a few things im stumped on.

Im trying to set up a save that I can import to start a new ME3 playthrough as a new class however I havent been able to get the changes to the class to stick. Ive gone in, changed the code for the class to what I want it to be then saved over a hard save for that character that would be used for the import. However it ends up being the same class I actually used for the previous playthrough.

Also, it seems I forgot to get all of the asari matriach writings in ME1, how can I change it to flag that I have.

Also, changing my origin and military history.. probably be fixed the same way for changing my class.

Must sleep now.

Anyone ever figure out the bool id that says you completed Miranda's loyalty mission in ME2? I started with me3 on the PC and there is no way for me to save Miranda since the game thinks I never did her loyalty mission. Having her loyalty and having completed her mission are two different things according to the game.

With regret, I have more experience with the ME2 Editor than I do ME3.

Thoughtfully, consider using the ME2 editor to set up a character to your liking and import it into ME3.

With condolences, I apologize for being unable to be of further help.

Sincerely, I wish you luck.

Urgently Edit:

Proudly, the writings are something I can help you with. Plot>Mass Effect 1>Missions>Integers. Set the number there anywhere from 10 to 16.

Really? Because it was easy for me to get a male mo-hawk on my male shepherd, but I got no help with it, nor had anyone done it, and that was around 3 weeks ago.

Assuming someone has done it because its easy is wrong, fact is, people only do things that suit them. This may have just not come up before since all the MP costumes where simply not worth trying to put into singleplayer up till the latest DLC. It's worth looking into.

It is however my personal opinion that trying to get anything from the latest DLC's into SP is a waste of time. Bioware has clearly shown they don't want this to happen by changing how its latest DLC's work, so we can't do what was done with the resurgence pack, and put stuff in singleplayer from multiplayer. Given they're the developers, and they can at any point make life a living hell for modders, rather then just ignoring us, I'd rather just leave it alone.

Has anyone here figured out how to swap head morphs between games? Like for example, swapping ME3 ash with ME2 ash?

I want to know if there is a way to add casual outfits and armor to the xbox version. I want to wear Alliance Armor as my default armor or as casual wear. Basically I want this www.youtube.com/watch

I'm sorry if someone already answered this I just dont have time to go through all 43 pages. If anybody can help me that'll be great!

Really? Because it was easy for me to get a male mo-hawk on my male shepherd, but I got no help with it, nor had anyone done it, and that was around 3 weeks ago.

Which game, if it's 3, it's in the CC and the BSN / facesdatabase has info on getting Vega's mohawk in.
If it's ME2, I have a blogpost (points at signature) with the gibbed values dating back 9 months ago, which was mostly just a gathering of existing information scattered across the web. Coincidently, that blogpost is also linked on the facesdatabase, which is a good source of gibbed editing guides. It also is the place where people showcase and share their custom sheps, a lot of experimentation is done, and a ton of extra info can be gotten.
If it's ME1, ELE08 has a blog with a hexediting guide that includes some notes on the mohawk, which she's edited in on her own Male shep.

That maleshep customisation blog? Yeah, I don't even play manshep. So it wasn't convenient for me, that was done for everyone else, so that information was in one place.

Also, read ELE's reply, it explains what the case is in detail.

Point being, most answers can be found when you look for them right.
Googling 'maleshep gibbed hair', 'maleshep customise mohawk' or even 'maleshep mohawk', first two hits:

1. Maleshep thread in ME3 on the BSN. OP features links to my blog for ME2 gibbed editing, ELE's blog on ME1 hexediting AND a link to the faces database.
2. My ME2 gibbed editing blog.

Yeaaah sorry to burst your bubble bro, but male mohawks have definitely been done in all three games long before three weeks ago.

I don't doubt that you figured it out yourself, but you definitely weren't the first.

Nope, the only MP weapons listed there are from the first DLC, nothing from the second or third, same for the mods.

And if you had bothered to read any of the last several pages you would have found your answer as to why that is.

Well, since I dont want to go digging through 40+ pages of posts I'll just save my self some time and assume it is your fault.
