Few weapon mod related questions, I apologize if they've already come up, but this is a large thread...

1.) Can you apply weapon mods to weapons before you pick them up? To clarify, if I list the concentration and damage mods for my Mantis before I pick them up on Mars, will they just automatically equip? Or would I simply have to save 'n reload? Would it cause any weird glitches?

2.) So, while it seems that the rest of the new weapon mods are unofficially included within Leviathan, are there any descriptions around for what they do? Specifically, I'm interested in knowing what the new sniper scope mod is all about... I know that the new AR scope mod highlights the enemies in smoke 'n cover, similar to the enhanced sniper scope mod, but what does the "super" sniper scope mod do?

3.) Do any conflicts arise from applying the new damage & penetration mods alongside their original, stand-alone counterparts? Or do the damage bonuses and penetration distance simply stack onto what's already present?... If it's the latter, that would be excellent. :D

1. No.
2. If I remember correctly, it's a low powered scope that highlights enemies in red at all times.

- Assault Rifle High-Velocity Barrel - Increases penetration to 1.35m with 40% damage reduction, ignores 90% of armor, and increases weight by 50 points.
- Shotgun Omni-Blade - increases melee damage by 50% and increases weight by 50 points.
- Pistol Heavy Barrel - increases damage by 40% and increases weight by 50 points
- Assaut Rifle Thermal Scope - same as SR Thermal Scope
- Shotgun High-Velocity Barrel - 
increases penetration, maybe damage too, and weight (don't remember exact numbers)
- Sniper Rifle High-Velocity Barrel - increases penetration, maybe damage too, and weight (don't remember exact numbers)

i really need  some help modding my save on 360 if there is any friendly gamers out there i would greatly appreciate the help...so i succesfully modded my femshep to look like the default with black hair..i was still unhappy...so i went on mass effect 2 faces and found a shep i licked .her name was nazzren...i also used the allers/ chobot hair



i followed a tutorial......made sure headmorph was true

copy and pasted the hair mesh and hair diff in the allocated place  i gave myself some creds , grenades,medigel and 2000 renegade points    rehashed and put my save back in my hard drive...when i try to load the save ..it sticks on the loading screen ???????? wtf   :crying:     i really wish bioware would release a face/hair/customization dlc cause shepards just dont get that pretty with the sliders and hair choices..if someone could help i would be forever in your debt...

I think it's the hair causing this. Try saving while standing right next to Allers, then mod it as normal.

i was at the begining of mars where you just get off the shuttle on my way to see liara...so i should wait to get to the citadel , stand next to allers and save than mod? i dont fully understand.....have you modded any femsheps? if so maybee you could show me some pics and help me out...ill try this suggestion THANKS for the reply

I haven't personally modded any FemSheps, but that's the common work around if the hair won't load. To make sure it's actually that try modding everything as before, but leave the hair as the original, non-Allers one. If it still doesn't load it's not the hair and you might have messed something else up.

the mod i used to change to the default shepard was pretty easy i downloaded the file and it automatically uploaded the correct paths..it be nice if someone uploaded one with the allers/chobot hair..........D L C!!!!!! lol..i need long hair

I have tried looking for the mp files with the pcc editor and stuff, but i guess i'm just not good enough at this modding stuff. Would be appreciated if anyone could point me to a tutorial, or something like that.

Has anyone been able to get into the Firefight Pack or Leviathan bin files? They're easy enough to extract with ME3 Explorer, but the headers confuse and render useless Wenchy's utility and .bins other than the main Coalesced don't decompile properly with Gibbed's utility.

Is it possible to use Gibbed for my PC save to make it think I used the Paragon option with the Illusive Man on Mars because I missed that this time around and want to be able to make him kill himself at the end :P

Did you use the Renegade option instead? I don't believe it matters which one you use, as long as you use them each time you speak to the Illusive Man, you'll be able to select the Paragon option during your final conversation with him.

Question: Would using Gibbed's to increase the values for Liara's intel bonuses multiply their effects?

No, the only way to increase your stats in Gibbed's is to apply the bonuses for both option for each Intel piece in Liara's terminal.

Well, yes, I know you can add—for example—the player variable entries for Feron_Shields, and Feron_AmmoCapacity... But is there any way to multiply the effects of the former specifically? Besides adding the other shield bonus entries, I mean

Basically, I'm looking for a way to bolster the strength of my health 'n shields further.

The only way to do that is mod your coalesced.bin. Either adding the stat bonuses to armor or increasing the bonuses of the intel upgrades themselves.  Adding the same one over and over will achieve nothing here.  Search for the me3 modding thread in the fan creations to see how to do this.

I finished ME3 recently and well, I am not too happy about the ending. I know my way around a computer and even programmed some small games myself back in high school.

What I am looking for is if it is known how to edit the story sequence and plot. It may sound stupid and impossible but I would love to improve (and if in any way possible, edit) the ending. Anyone knows if it is possible and if so how to do this besides replacing certain video files?

Improving the ending?
It would probably be easier to punch out Harbinger in one blow (without being called Captain Falcon)

Changing it would be considerably easier, but would still likely require devkit tools that we just don't have.
And a lot of plugs for those plotholes you'll likely end up digging.

As you may or may not know, there are several human multiplayer characters for Earth DLC. Is there any possibility to add those armors for Shepard in the single player campaign?

How do I contact Gibbed himself? I can't find an email or something on his site. I need to ask him if he can find the bool id for Conrad Verner and the one that says you did Miranda's ME2 mission (cannot save her otherwise).
