How do you change the casual outfit you wear at the very start of the game? I want my Shepard wearing the N7 hoodie outfit, not body armour.

I'm not even sure what you have to play to unlock him legitimately.PKchu wrote...
I'm trying to get the General Sherman war asset to display in my game. I tried following the FAQ's instructions and inputting 137 as an id and strength of 30, but it won't show up in my game.
Any one have any advice?
It only says Facebook

I don't care if it's illegitimate, I just wanna see what it says. It's not even on the Wiki.

I don't know, I've never tried changing or adding any of the external app related assets. Maybe changing the strength from 30 to 0, like it says in that Pastebin file.PKchu wrote...
Some promotion I had never heard of before recently that ended before the game even released.

Just to make sure, you're going to Raw>Squad>Player>GAW Assets and adding the entry there right? I made the mistake a long time ago to add the asset entry into the Player Variables table, which only marks the Asset as viewed instead of "new".

And believe me, somebody asked this question on that war asset before.

EDIT: Also, how can I give myself a new war asset that gives me negative points? I don't want to alter any of my old ones if I can avoid it.

EDIT: Found a solution. For anyone else who needs it
As said by psxyke:
Balak
Bool
17291 set to True
and
17315 set to False (True = Balak is dead)
I'm pretty sure that they work
Tested it myself, works and the conversation plays out like you did it in ME1 and imported, not the default did you do it in Gibbed's basic tabs.
You need to edit it though at least before taking batarian codes or perhaps even on the Normandy. That's when I changed it. I tried once post taking the quest and it didn't work.

Hi guys.
Is it possible to disable the possibility of a M/M relationship with Kaidan?
Cheers.
Why are you so anti-gay?

I know it's possible to change Shepard's body, but what about squad mates? I think it'd be really neat to do this, since you could possibly mod it to where you can have cutscenes where you can have love-romance scenes with Vega or Kelly.
Example: if you could swap out Ashley's body/face with Kelly's so during the love scene your shep would be getting it with her.

Is there a way to put that into the rest of the game?

As you may or may not know, there are several human multiplayer characters for Earth DLC. Is there any possibility to add those armors for Shepard in the single player campaign?
No. They physically won't map to Shepard's body. All Shepard's armor textures do not contain heads as the body and head models are separate. Helmet textures and models are separate for him and all once piece in multiplayer. As a result the texture map is entirely different. However there is one armor that does sort of port over. If you add the "gray" N7 Defender suit to single player via coalesced editing then Male Shepard gets the BF3 soldier armor. This is not the same texture that the MP version uses as I've pulled them both and worked on them. The MP version integrates the death mask. The SP version doesn't. Why we weren't given the option to use this armor in SP is beyond me. FemShep has a gray version of the armor, but none of the BF3 fire effects nor the camo pattern. Just plain gray.

Editing the Coalesced for Misc. Single Player things won't change anything nor flag me in Multiplayer right? I don't want to get banned.
Also, is it possible to edit what powers Sheppard has on a permanent basis like it is in Mass Effect 2? (I assume there is, haven't opened up the Gibbed Editor for ME3 yet.)
I think I might port over my custom FemShep from ME2, I am kinda over the whole ending thing now I think. But if I port over my second save I am doing things right.

As long as it only affects single player. I downloaded "Mother of all Mods" awhile back and it made my recharge time too high and my guns could use any mod in MP. Obviously not acceptable, so I uninstalled it and messages ME3 support to make sure I didn't get banned.
1. Rename your coalesced.bin to coalesced.binorig
2. install the MOM coalesced.bin.
3. When you're going to play MP rename coalesced.bin to coalesced.binmod and rename coalesced.binorig to coalesced.bin. Reverse for when you want to play SP.
It's similar if you want to edit your c.bin as well.
Just make a copy of it first. Rename one to .binorig that will be your untouched one you use for MP. Edit the other to your hearts content.
Also, be sure that before you do an update/patch (or a dlc if a patch is included) that you rename the unedited version back to .bin
That way you don't overwrite your edits and you can do a compare with the old modded c.bin and a copy of the patched c.bin.
There was a batch file that someone created. Don't know what page it was on, but a little searching could find it for you and then you'd just have to run it to swap the file names.
But the above is what I do. That way I have no issues when I play SP vs. MP.

Change the bools early then you'll have an entry in your spectre office authorizing their release.
