*I tried the fix made by SubaruH but it only succeeds in making my file corrupt... i'm guessing that's because my save is from xbox.*
I've recently (and for the first time too

How can I use them as combat armor? Gibbed's coalesced editor doesn't seem to want to compile when I add this under full appearances.

Can I change the stats of the DLC guns like the Harrier?
I'm not sure...you'd have to go searching somewhere in the coalasce file. It's somewhere there.

It's not in the coalesced file as far as I saw it.

If I remember correctly, each DLC has its own Coalesced.bin file, along with everything else like .pcc's.

Each one is packed as a .sfar file.
You'll need something to unpack the sfar and then something to unpack/repack the .pcc files.
ME3 Explorer is what I use after trying everything else.
However, I have no idea what the affect on MP is when/if you change these files. I've only played around with stuff not used in MP.

Multiplayer harrier data (damage, rof, magsize etc) is kept on the server, the single player on is in the dlc bin. Technically there 2 different weapons.

When I unpack the sfar file with the "Gibbed.MassEffect3.AudioExtract" I only got .ogg files
No pcc files. Do I need another program or did I do something wrong.

Oh man does someone know how to increase the darn 50-save limit in the game? That ME2 PCC Patcher was supposed to work in ME3 but it's extremely outdated, and the creator is nowhere to be found.
On PC. I create a bak folder inside the save folder and just move them in there as I get close to or are at the limit.
You don't have to quit the game to do this.
As for what to use to edit .pcc and for the .sfar question above, I use ME3 Explorer

I'm assuming what would need to be modded is probably not in the .ini file, but I can't really tell. If the NPC files can't be modded, is there a way to override models? For instance, a way to override one character's head morph and body model with another's by copying and renaming the desired character's files and putting them somewhere?

I want to change the "ending" armor that is forced on the player and seemingly cannot be changed by setting the outfid ID in the save editor. How can I do this? I know it's similar to the Prologue outfit change but I have no idea on how to do it from there.
It picks the outfit based on the id number in the coalesced.bin > biogame.json > sfxgame.sfxplayercustomization > casualappearances
It should be the line with Id=8 and the model is BIOG_HMM_ARM_SHP_R.SHPi.HMM_ARM_SHPi_MDL / BIOG_HMF_ARM_SHP_R.SHPi.HMF_ARM_SHPi_MDL
Either swap out the model in that id or create a new line and give that line the id number.

Replied to your bump with a handy dandy link. See a couple posts up.
You won't get anything out of the sfar with the Gibbed.MassEffect3.AudioExtract but AUDIO.
Use ME3 Eplorer. Linked in previous post.

I used the ME3 explorer and extracted the sfar file. Now wich pcc file do I need to change the stats the Harrier?

It'd be easier if I had ME3 for PC so I could test these things myself (since I'll end up doing it on my own eventually anyway), but I suppose I'll need to re-install ME2 for testing purposes...
Correct me if I'm wrong, but the way I see it the only way to replace character models would be to override the mesh and texture of the character I'm changing with the files from the character I want them to look like. I also believe that the mesh and textures I'd need are in the .pcc packages, and thus have to be extracted, renamed, and replaced. I also read that mesh files have to be the same size as whatever the file was before modding, so I have to pick models that are similar in file size (or is it some other measure?)
Sounds complicated. I should find my ME2 disc and start working this out. Or maybe just get ME3 so I can get right to the changes I want to make...
