I managed to find the friendship INT on page 28 but it now Ashley says I must like crazed bald women (Jack) yet, the odd thing is I've never once romanced Jack in any of my playthroughs. How can I edit this so I that I can at least have a pure Ashley romance? I did the Int at 213 at 3(default), then moved to 4 like the post said, and still getting it. 5 is romance so I don't want to do that. Any help?

You'll need to adjust more than the friendship INT.

Mass Effect 2 Plot Bools -- http://pastebin.com/W5RTmrJB

Romance: Pick the person you wish to romance. You're in for a lot of work. Once you pick one all others must be made false. By default they are false I believe.

id: 14281 name: Ashley Romanced
id: 13827 name: Loyal to Ashley
ints: 10017 value: 4

id: 5208 name: Jack Romanced
ints: 213 value: 5
float: 236 value: 778
float: 232 value: 776

Make sure Ashley's data matches and Jacks does not.

I mean, I saw those two settings and changed them, but I never thought to change them both at the same time!  Stupid.  :P

Thanks again.  Don't worry, I keep two .bin for SP & MP.  ^_^

Change the model to something Shep can wear in game. That's the model that the end sequence will use.

Be sure to make backups and all that before attempting.

It won't work. You need to use something like ME Explorer to get into and adjust the .pcc file for the weapon.

Even then, if it's based on another weapon's settings, all it will get you is a long fire rate every time you push the mouse button.

Was working on this with the Valkyrie which is based off the Saber settings. I probably could have gone deeper into it, but it just wasn't worth the effort.

Yeah, Not worth going inthe ME Explorer.  I guess I'm just going to have to up the ROF, and keep the 3 round burst.  Just spam and pretend its an auto.  <_<

Thanks though for the clarification!

I have to say I appreciated having the save editor for the previous games, in my following playthroughs. That said, I was happy to learn that one finally existed for ME3 as well.
I'm on Windows 7. However, I can't seem to get it to run. It keeps giving me a fatal error for the gibbed program, saying CLR: error 80004005, and terminates it.

I looked this up, and it said I needed an update to my .NET, so I did that, restarted my computer, and I'm still getting the same error. Anyone know what's going on?
I just wanted to play around with my single player file, and the paragon/renegade meter, as I had both maxed by the end of the previous games.

What's the latest version of .net  that you have installed?

What file are you trying to run?

What version are you using?

I've made the adjustments yet at Grissom, Jack still says we had a fling. IT no longer says romance luckily but still says we had a fling. :(

Does anybody know if there is a way to remove the helmets/eyepieces from companion armors? For example: Ashley's from Ashes armor has those kai leng eyepieces that I would really like to get rid of.

Hello all. I was wondering if a veteran modder could walk me through my relatively simple (I think) request; I just want to be sure that nothing screws up.

Simply, I want to alter my save (I will use the latest version of Gibbed's Save Editor for ME3 saves, and/or the latest working version for ME2 saves, as needed) to Romance Tali in ME2, without screwing up anything else, as I learned that to even have the choice of Romancing Tali for ME3, you need to romance her in ME2.

As things stand right now, I have a ME2 save that is complete and not yet imported into ME3 (though, ME3 is quite willing to import it) that reports that I romanced Liara in ME1, and romanced NOBODY in ME2. Prior to the ME2 suicide mission, my Shepard looked longingly at Liara's picture and went about his business. However, this was despite the fact that way before the suicide mission, I ran the Lair of the Shadow Broker ME2 expansion and rekindled/agreed to have a relationship with Liara. ME2 however doesn't seem to count this as a romance, but I read that it will in ME3...sort of. What I don't know is if the order of ME2 romances makes a difference - if I rekindled with Liara in LotSB before or after finishing the romance chain prior to suicide mission in ME2 with Tali - in terms of if any of them would span a "conflict" In ME3? Now, I am to understand that I could have romanced Tali prior to the suicide mission and ME3 would "count" both my romances with Tali AND LotSB rekindling with Liara, without there being any sort of "cheating" incident and thus with the "best" status for both Liara and Tali going into ME3 > as if I'd romanced Liara "completely" in ME1 and ME2 LotSB, and Tali in ME2 - both without conflict.

I wrote a bit on this in another thread before they directed me here to you guys. Those interested in helping, perhaps it will provide a bit of background - http://social.biowar...ndex/14948339/1

So, my understanding is at the moment if I just have ME3 import my save as it stands, it will have ME1 Liara (visible on the import screen) and LotSB Liara (not visible on the import screen, but apparently it is being counted anyway), so all I need to do is to add ME2 Tali romance complete? If this accurate? Or is there something else I need to look for or change? Also, is it best/easiest/necessary to modify the ME2 Save file, or import to ME3 first and then modify the ME3 file? I originally thought it would be easier (and less things to screw up, as I haven't yet started ME3 and thus don't want to screw up or flag anything else there) to if I just modded the ME2 file, but I remember trying this at one point and the version of Gibbed's Editor I was using rejected the ME2 file etc.... so, which is the best way to go? Edit ME2 Save, or Import existing ME2 Save > ME3, and then Edit ME3 Save to change the ME2 parameters within it?

Finally, I'd appreciate a walk through of how to make the needed changes for my particular situation. I see the list of parameters on the first page and a few other items, but I want to make sure I'm doing what is pertinent to my situation, since I've basically not started ME3 yet.

I am gathering this may be overly complex, but I just want to make sure everything is taken into account for what I hope to accomplish. Thank you for your time.

These both mean you were in a relationship with her.

ME2 however doesn't seem to count this as a romance, but I read that it will in ME3...sort of.

It just means the status quo from ME1 continued; the game recognizing you were with Liara.

Depends on how much you like to play with numbers. Some people would prefer restarting from ME1.

Open up your ME2/ME3 save editor and reset the romance flags and integers to zero for Liara in the Mass Effect 1 save section. To actually force a romance in ME2, you need to do a lot of work however; this involves editing raw boolean/int/float data. In the raw tab, go to "plot" then expand "bool variables." This will show you all the codes which can be editied for various plot outcomes. Do the same for Int and Float variables.

This link contains a number of plot ID codes http://pastebin.com/W5RTmrJB. Set the ID's in which Tali is romanced to "true" while ensuring all other romance ID's (including those for Liara) are set to false. Sundance31us was talking about this on this page and the last.

My search shows this is the relevant information:
id: 3926 name: Tali Romanced
ints: 272 value: 5
float: 235 value: 777
float: 232 value: 776

id: 14169 name: Liara Romanced
id: 13827 name: Loyal to Liara
ints: 10016 value: 4 (change this)
id: 6927 name: Liara Romanced as Shadow Broker
id: 6931 name: Liara Romanced as Shadow Broker
id: 7051 name: Liara Romanced as Shadow Broker
id: 6941 name: Liara "toured" the Normandy

I'm not sure if anyone has ever posted on this forum asking how to make it so squadmates use only one weapon, but it's a question that I'd been looking for an answer to here on BSN for a long time and, now that I've finally figured it out, I might as well share:

1) In the Coalesced editor, go to: biogame.ini > sfxgame > sfxplayersquadloadoutdata > henchloadoutinfo

2) Go to each squadmate and edit their "Weaponclasses=(...)" so that it only reads one type of weapon.  For example, for Garrus to only use sniper rifles, you would do this: "(className=SFXPawn_Garrus,Weaponclasses=(LoadoutWeapons_SniperRifles,LoadoutWeapons_AssaultRifles))"

3) Save and exit.

4) In Gibbed, load your save and go to: Raw > Squad > Henchmen > ...

5) Move down to the squadmate you want (you can tell who's who by reading the tag section).

6) Expand the Loadout Weapons section and make sure that two types of weapons have weapon tags (for example, the tag for the Predator is "SFXGameContent.SFXWeapon_Pistol_Predator") in them and every other section reads "None".  For example, if you used the Coalesced editor to make it so that James only used shotguns, and you wanted him to only use, say, the Katana, you'd need to make sure that the Shotgun section had "SFXGameContent.SFXWeapon_Shotgun_Katana" in it and one other section (which I usually just designate to be the Pistol section) has another tag in it (I usually just use the tag for the Predator, since squadmates always seem to be whipping those things out of nowhere during cutscenes...).

7) Go to: Weapons > ...

8) Make sure that the only weapon there is the one you want equipped.  Continuing with the example of James only using the Katana, make sure that the only item is "SFXWeapon_Shotgun_Katana".

9) Save and exit.

Now, you could just skip steps 1 through 3, but, if you were to do that, your game would get stuck every time you go on a mission and want to change squadmate weapons at the weapon loadout screen, because a popup message will say that each squadmate must have two weapons equipped.  All you can do at that point is forcibly close the game (since you can't pause or go back), reopen it, and edit the loadouts in Gibbed.  All of the Coalesced editor stuff makes it so you can change loadouts in-game, which is smoother.

If you've bought Mass Effect 3: Omega, the process is a little different when dealing with Aria and Nyreen's loadouts:

1) Skip steps 1 through 3.

2) Repeat steps 4 through 6.

3) At step 5, where there'll be two weapon entries, just go to the type of weapon that you don't want Aria or Nyreen to use, delete the section fo the weapon tag that has the unique name of the weapon, and replace it with "None".  For example, if you don't want Aria to use shotguns (let's say she's equipped with a Scimitar), you'd do this: "SFXWeapon_Shotgun_Scimitar" > "SFXWeapon_Shotgun_None".

4) Repeat step 9.

Since I'm kinda picky about how my squad looks, I like each squadmate to use a weapon that fits their aesthetic and / or species: Anderson uses the Predator (like always), James uses the Katana, Ashley uses the Avenger, Kaidan uses the Scimitar (I fiddled with the Coalesced editor so that Kaidan can use shotguns), Liara uses the Acolyte, Garrus uses the Krysae, EDI uses the Locust, Javik uses the Particle Rifle, Tali uses the Reegar Carbine, Aria uses the Disciple, and Nyreen uses the Phaeston.  Oh, and Shepard uses the Cerberus Harrier, since, well, I frakking love that gun...

Hope this helps!

Has anyone figured out how to add / remove the powers that each squadmate can use? For example, I'd like to be able to remove Liara's Warp Ammo power and replace it with, say, Barrier.

The "closest" I've gotten is using the Coalesced editor (by going to: bioui.ini > sfxgame > sfxguidata > teamselect > selectinfos / powerinfos) to make it so that when you look at Liara's info on the squad status screen (on the computer terminal in Shepard's cabin), it'll say that Barrier is included in Liara's powers. When I go to the actual level-up screen, though, it'll still say that Liara still has Warp Ammo.

I've done this in combination with using Gibbed to add Barrier to Liara's powers, but that doesn't seem to work either...

Anybody have any luck with this? Thanks!

Having issues with the Ajax Armor Headgear mod.

EG, I can't figure it out. If I put it as a separate chunk, then it doesn't show the bonuses. Are they still there, or am I just screwed six ways from Sunday?

Reason I am trying to do this is I find it silly that Shep would be wearing a breather helmet on worlds that can sustain life.

Also, would it be at all possible to give Shep powers from the N7 MP troops? Just wondering.

Just throwing this out there for anyone who want to know.

If you switch the Virmire Survivor mid-game and you want to change the codex entry to correspond go to:

Raw>Plot>Codex Entries>Line 10>Collections

Ashley is 20763
Kaidan is 20762

Replace one with the other.
