Over on the Elven language talk page on the Dragon Age wiki, a certain Dragon Age writer mentioned that he might be able to provide the linguistically-minded amongst us with the poetry for some of the soundtrack songs.

This post is a plea that you lovely, beautiful, intelligent, kind and generous souls at Bioware would be willing to give us the lyrics/poetry that the songs were based on, with translations if possible.:D

I've tackled a totally non-canon Tevene dictionary as well as an Elven one, and would LOOOOVE confirmation, for example, that the song Mage's Pride was written in Tevene/Tevinter.

Would also love confirmation regarding the DA RPG sets as to what the name of the current Tevinter language is, since the RPG set refers to the old language as "Ancient Tevene/Tevine."  Does this mean that the language Fenris speaks is simply Tevine/Tevene, or as posted by an unknown source on the DA wiki is called Arcanum?  And if it's Arcanum, please tell us why?

I would ADORE the lyrics and/or poetry for the following, if possible please, please:

Rogue Heart (Elvhen, presumably?)

Destiny of Love (some of the words a gloss pulls up are similar to Tagalog, which makes me wonder if it's in Rivaini.  The "w" and "k" sounds present in the song seem to be lacking in Elvhen, and there's no "w" in Latin, either, which seems to be the main base language for Tevene... but would seriously love any information...<3)

Mage Pride (Tevene?)

Suledin (Elvhen)

I Am the One (????)

Please? <3
