Help. I want to change a staff's appearance to that of either a maul or a mace. Anyone know how? I want to use existing maul/mace graphics without editing.
How to change staff to look like existing weapons graphic.

To do that you have to edit the fitting *.gda in the 2da.erf
In that case go to your toolkit, open the 2da.erf (pagages\\core\\data) extract the staff_variation.gda.
Then you go to your extracted file and rename it to "staff_variation_2.gda", then drag and drop it to your toolkit. There you can edit the row_list (delete all but 0 and 1) then go to row 1 and edit the int that indicates the number of the variation(gda_column_1) change it to the next free int (which would be 5 here), then change column 2 (name) and columns 3-5 (name of the new model).
Save it and copy it to your "pagages\\core\\override\\".
Then go to the toolkit again (you might to have to restart it) go to items section(on your right) find the staff you wanna change and edit the item variation to the one you just created. then export the resources and it should be done.

I hope I dont sound like a pest...
I followed your steps, but up when I drag and dropped it to toolkit.... it did nothing. I retried with the 2da file open or closed... still nothing.
I am not sure if I am doing this right. I do appreciate your help... and hopefully get more information.
Thank you
