Question for the people who romanced Jacob:
If he was available as a LI in future ME games would you romance him ?
Also does he suggest to Femshep to head for drinks in Rio if he was romanced?

I doubt it. I did the playthrough with him as a LI just to see what the dialogue was, but it was just so... Creepy... It didn't feel like a real romance - that was a booty call. I shut it off halfway through because I couldn't watch it. I don't feel the initial romance with him was done very well to begin with, and I wasn't surprised that he wasted no time in moving on where other characters at least had a mourning period for Shepard.

I believe (not really sure, but...) Jacob mentions Rio whether you romanced him or not (if I remember my ManShep playthrough correctly... he does mention buying drinks).
Depending on what kind of FemShep, personality-wise, yeah ... I still would give him romance subplot another chance in ME2. Sure, some of his lines are cheesy, but I would still give him a chance.

Only if they give the femshep a chance to cheat on Jacob beforehand. You know, to "level" the playing field.
That or position Brynn in a way to get her killed, then dump Jacob to leave him in the most horrible situation ever.
