Well, in character creation you can make an old PC. It would be equally strange having your 60 year old female PC romance the twentysomething Alistair, wouldn't it?



I think they all should be romancable unless there was a clear reason why not. Like Shale is a golem, Oghren is maybe still mourning Branka, and some don't really swing that way.

Your character is never acknowledged as old, or ugly, so that doesn't really count.

Besides, Alistair's been with Genlocks, he has no standards (oh how I wish I was joking).

So what happens if the PC is in his or her 40's or 50's or even 60's, there are gamers that old so really the PC could create an older looking PC and then romancing someone the age of Wynne would not seem odd at all. My own mother who is 72 just recently found a new friend, a wonderful man her age and I feel so much better knowing she has someone with her now. People that age still do want romance in their lives. So really I think Bioware needs to think about their older fans and make someone like Wynne accessable as a romance option. When you look at it from that perspective it only makes sense.
