Yes it would but  wynne character anyway wouldn't just sleep around with anyone she like  a motherly figure for the  group she has standards.

Your pc is assumed to be young, even if you make him look old. Wynne isn't the kind who just sleeps around... anymore. Keep her in your party and listen to her dialogues with Alistair if you want to find out about some of her.... youthful indiscretions. She has a fairly deep companion quest as well. She ain't all gingerbread and knitting.

In seriousness, I could see Wynne being a romanceable NPC if they ever made a "Blessed Age" game... but I can see why they didn't go for the "cougar" option this time around.

And there is also hints that it is only keeping her alive so the blight can be stopped, once over... So with her personality why being dead on borrowed time and all would she get involved. With a personality like hers there just is no reason to allow such a fling.

Thougha s far as age of PC goes, what does age matter? When I got with my wife she was twice my age, love isn't picky in that respect. Take into consideration her high stature and wealth that comes with her position and it is easy to imagine younger men being attracted to her.

You could also look at this from a marketing view. The majority of the people they are marketing for are between 20-40. You may get some people up to 50, but likely not many people older then that at all. Additionally, let us say they are on the older end of that marketed group, 40-50. There is a very good chance they would prefer to be reminded of their old love life when they were young then of their current situation. Additionally, there is the argument of looks. How many older people can you really market as sexy? On the whole, most people view younger as more pleasing to look at. This is even more true for women. I hate the sexism behind it, but there is a double standard. Bioware might have simply decided that making a romance option for a grandmother style character isn't worth the time and money. In fact, its possible it could have had an adverse effect in the media.
