Never liked Tali much. The rest were cool with me. LI was Ashley since ME 1, but definitely thought it should have been Liara in ME 3 (playthrough 2 once new endings are out?).

Anyway, Tali just reminded me too much of Mission Vao from KOTOR--another character I couldn't really stand very much. Tali sounded annoying, acted immature, and was largely useless in a fight for the first two games. I also just don't find tech abilities fun or interesting in combat. Only overload is useful (which Garrus provides). I still appreciated her character and storylines, but just never used her as a squadmate and avoided talking to her that much.

Plus: I just don't like the Quarians all that much for what they did to the Geth and their ridiculously stubborn approach to, well, everything. :P

Jack because she might biotic you, if you make her angry enough. Also she has no manners ...
Others I can tolerate.

I like all of them really. No hate for any of them. I just get incredibly bored with a few like Ash, Kaidan, Jacob, and Miranda.

The rest I never get bored with

The only one I actually HATE is Morinth but she has never lived through Samara's loyalty mission for me so I guess she doesn't matter

Kaiden - In ME1 he is so creepy. Ashley is normal in comparison.

I actually tried using Kaiden in ME3 (non-import game) because his powers etc have always been better than Ashley. He is still way too creepy. Hate his face especially..

Vega - He's annoying but compared to Kaiden he's ok. He probably has a better characterization
than Jacob who he replaces.

Garrus is the best squadmate..he's good at everything and has the best lines.

These are the worst kinds of threads.

Agreed. This thread contains almost as much stupidity as the ME3 endings.

1. Samara because she tried to murder Morinth
2. Ashley, because she murdered Wrex.
3. Kaidan, because the things he said to me on Horizon hurt my feelings.
4. Jack, she was okay in ME3, but in ME2 I couldn't stop thinking "okay, so she has the power to turn the Normandy inside out, but she lacks the stability to control her power, and now we're going to take her with us into interstellar space where there will be noone to help us if she snaps and destroys the ship? yeah, that makes sense."

Hate most

1. EDI

2. Zaeed

3 Ashley/Kaiden

Favourite

All ME1 squad except vs

1. Liara

2. Tali/Wrex

3. Garrus/Mordin

4. Jack/Vegas

5. Samara/grunt

6. kasumi

(Legion don't get any ranking because he was design in such a way in ME2 you couldn't recruite him early and get a perfect game.)

The rest I don't like at all and seldom use in mission. Especially the Cerberus team.

It makes me sad to see all of the Kaidan hatred (and misspellings...) on here.

I can't play the game with Ashley as a squadmate. I just cannot stand her.
Jacob is boring and tactically useless after he unlocks Barrier in 2, because he constantly uses it, even with squad powers turned off.

I pretty much like or love everyone else.

Well.. I could go into a very long explanation for the millionth time as to why I really hate Liara. But I'm not up to it, just got home from work and all and feel like gaming.

Have this lolcat instead:

Garrus, Tali, Kaiden and Jacob are the least interesting characters, imo

Honestly:
I HAAAAAATE Kaidan with an insane fiery passion
I also dislike Jacob.
I feel Liara gets to much fan service and screen time but I really like as character and certainly don't hate her.

Morinth.

Besides being a sociopath and a serial killer, her greatest desire is to murder Shepard. Thankfully I haven't let her live in any playthrough.

Other than that no squadmate gives me a reason to hate them. Zaeed managed to ****** me off when he disobeyed Shepard's orders, but hate him? No way...he's an awesome character. The rest all have Shepard's back in one way or the other. Of course some squadmates are more interesting or better written than others, but even the less interesting ones (like Jacob)  have their moments.

Morinth's greatest desire as near as I can tell is to stay alive as long as possible while indulging to the greatest extent possible. If any Shepard dies at her hands it's because he made the mistake of trusting her knowing full well what she is and what she's capable of. That's on them for being naive, not on Morinth for being herself...

"Maybe because you have a Prothean cypher in your head and some augments I *won't* fry your brain up like a cheese steak when we bone..."

I mean c'mon Shepard. Natalia Cigliutti's got a sexy voice but you'd have to be 5 years old to buy that line >.>

Liara. She was way better as Lightning. Why is she always saving Shep? Stop, just stop touching my Shep. Jacob...ugh. So miserable.
I love Kaidan. I liked Ashley though. She was real. Wish I could have sacrificed an alien on Virmire. Like Liara.

Shepard certainly deserves a Darwin Award if he falls for Morinth's line about being able to survive it, but that doesn't absolve Morinth from being mass murdering pond scum.

I hate your favorite characters.

But too be all honest, I have nothing against any of them. I used to hate Tali for being terrible in combat and just being a little pansy, but she was actually useful in combat during ME3 and she wasn't a stupid shy schoolgirl like she was in ME2. Bout time she grew up!

Multiple murderer, technically. If she were a mass murder it'd mean killing large volumes of people at once via something like a bombing or a shoot-out in a crowded place.

And I dunno if it absolves her, but Morinth *does* have a fundamental compulsion to wanna keep killing people the way she does. And said method also doubles as her version of sexual activity, and it makes her more able to resist her pursuers (since it makes her stronger).

Murderer? Perhaps. Pond scum? Naw. Pond scum is that douchey Salarian you meet in ME2 when you first get to Omega.

When I first played ME1, I couldn't stand Tali or Liara. Or Wrex. In ME2, it was Mordin. But they actually had great parts in the subsequent games, and all four grew on me a lot in ME3. I ended up really liking them.

So...I guess there's not anyone I wholly dislike now.

I didn't really HATE Jacob, Vega, Kaiden or Ashley per se, but just thought they were completely boring.

Kasumi on the other hand was, to me, the most underutilized character in the series, and a shame her biggest role was as DLC.

Kasumi was definetly underulitized especially in ME3, she was in one side mission and even then she was side lined

5. Tali

First off: engineers are the least useful kind of character by far.  In all the games. So there's almost never a good reason to bring Tali on missions. Second, her demeanor and actions are at least vaguely reminiscent of a lovestruck teenaged girl. And *any* adult with clear memories of highschool has less than fond opinions of lovestruck teenaged girls. And third... well, after keeping it hidden for 5 years, I would've expected something wayyy better to be tucked under that mask. My personal hope was some sort of ALIENS like monstrosity to squick out all the Talimancers, but alas.

Exaclty, plus she always feels like borderline being the "tech guru" character stereotype so often found in cop shows. But honestly, I would have forgiven everything if they would have let me bond with her on a personal level by showing me her face instead of a stock google picture....that was....just ridiculous....
