I bet even he doesn't really know the ending because I believe in the rumor that the ending was written by 2 guys. No way anyone other than writers know about DLC contents

@Tiax - if that's the case, why are the squad mates shown dead on the ground with blood coming out of them and then moments later walk out of the Normandy unharmed? Gonna love hearing this one.

I thought if your squadmates died no one walks out of the Normandy at the end. At least in two playthroughs I watched it happened that way.

Anyway this whole thing really gets on my nerves though. They do admit that at least some parts of their ending don't make sense but they are still trying to tease people about it. I just find it disgusting.

It has to make sense within the main game, I shouldn't wait and quite possibly pay for additional content just to have an ending that makes any kind of sense.

yup, no dead bodies re-appearing alive on Normandy.
or dead bodies at all for people who actully like to get a decent score before hitting the end.

they are either dead and it will be like ME2 suicide mission.
Or it was Indoctrination theory (ill not go into the specific details, but suffice to say. you can believe anything after harbingers beam as truth)
I dont consider a the third option of plot hole teleporting resulting from bad writing here.

More cryptic PR nonsense that likely doesn't mean anything?

Hold the line.

This, they can just add a codex entry "clarifying" for all we know.  Until they confirm they are changing the ending, I'm not sold.

Heck, they even have the PR department speculating. Literally, speculation for everyone! Hope they like it!

I hope this doesn't mean that squadmates are going to crash on some stupid planet either way regardless of choice.

They show up dead with a low enough ems, and then no one walks out of the normandy.

But some people who have a high ems still have their squad mates shown dead, but then they're shown walking out of the Normandy. Now maybe it's a bug, but we don't know that yet.

At least they admitted that they had their head up their keister on the teleporting crew. I am hoping the we aren't changing the ending we're just clarifying it statement is horsecrap too. I want a good ending. I don't wanna feel like I've wasted hundreds of hours to be depressed. Sorry for switching topics. I am STILL frustrated.

Since at least one EAWare employee agrees it "doesn't make sense", why the f#%^ did it make it into the final game?!?

Because of unreasonable deadlines enforced by EA.

Anyway, just explaining that thing about Normandy fleeing combat will not make the users happy. Having real endings depending on your choices is the most important thing on the mass effect 1 and 2, and what failed on the 3rd.
In some way it feels like theyve betrayed the spirit of their own game saga.

That's a shame. I was hoping the DLC would scrap the entire nonsensical mess that was the ending. Nothing about it is worth keeping.

Don't know about the response, but the first guy had a great pic of Ash. How do I get that as my forum pic.

Isaacshep, don't know if this was posted already (and can't be arsed to go back through 20 pages to find out) but I'm betting they'll just add the scenes that were cut out of the game back in. Sad--I wish they'd just take this d*mn scene out, but there you have it. There was a reason that your squaddies were fleeing with Joker, but it got cut for whatever reason.

Clarification:

And so, your squad mates, having seen you GET BLASTED by Harby's lazor, hailed the Normandy and said, "ROFL, Shepard is dead. Come pick us up."

Joker then made the pick up and, in honor of his courageous commander, cowardly ran away from the battle at hand. Leaving the Alliance to their colorful fate. Fleeing the system just in time to starve to death.

Im starting to belive it's Javik that's behind @masseffect considering the amount of trolling that comes from that twitter account.

Yup, that just about sums it up!  "Take Back Earth" actually means "Watch as your friends flee to somewhere definitely NOT Earth and leave you to die."

Brave Sir Robin ran away.
Bravely ran away away.
When danger reared it's ugly head, He bravely turned his tail and fled.
Yes, brave Sir Robin turned about
And gallantly he chickened out.
Bravely taking to his feet,
He beat a very brave retreat.
Bravest of the braaaave, Sir Robin!

This.

Seriously, by now I have the feeling they are just messing with us.

In germany we have a saying that translates like this:

"Letting someone starve to death dangling at arms length."

It means something like keeping you just out of reach of what you need/ want.

I feel like BW is doing that to us by now.
