No just no. Do not make the Normandy thing make sense!!! TAKE IT OUT COMPLETELY!! Bioware is seriously just digging a deeper hole if they only "clarify" things and not change anything....

Yes I'm acutely aware of what I'm saying....you people that are complaining about things that may or may not be true, are whiners.....that's not name calling.....that's fact....b****in and moaning about what Bioware did or did not intend....they've already said they have an announcement in April....maybe you whiners should hold your judgement
Now, go read my posts and we're square.

Starbrat is not the main problem. Normandy & teleporting squadmates is. The ending would be well balanced in its 'bittersweetness' if Shep wasn't suddenly separated from friends and LI in the end. The audience doesn't really care about nameless/faceless Krogans stuck in Sol system, just like they didn't care for all the innocent people Luke killed when he blew up Death Star. The audience cares for the main characters.ScriptDiver wrote...
Confirms my one fear in all this. All they will do is add som explanations, I believe the term was "clarifications", which is all good but it won't fix the ending. More and more I firmly believe nothing will be rewritten and the Catalyst really will be in the game. Starbrat represents all that is wrong with the ending, and he'll still be there saying the exact same thing. "clarifications" - really don't like that word

Haha people are such whiners...honestly, what will it take for you to be happy?!
First you b**** about the ending as it stands....now you're gonna b**** if they come out saying it was all planned? Wow....honestly, yeah I'm ready to finish the fight, but at the same time I wasn't ready for it to be over just yet
And all the whole dream/indoctrination....if they planned it, its genius plain and simple, regardless if they didn't expect the backlash....I credit them for having some balls....
You kids that stay complaining either way, are the entitled ones....seems like you only post for attention....
You're only complaining because Bioware may have fooled you and.you're little egos can't take a little twist....f***ing babies
Only post for attention, you say ?
I smell irony.

I know what happened to your squadmates:
After Harbinger believed he vaporized Shepard, he realized he was bored with using death lasers. So he decided to switch to the new and experimental teleportation laser and teleport your squadmates into the cold vacuum of space over Earth.
You may be on to something here.
What if... and bear with me here guys, what if ALL REAPER LASERS are teleportation/time travel lasers? So they really are preserving organic life when they zap you. They're just blasting you into the future. Or the past. Or somewhere else... another galaxy perhaps?
Reaping is really more like transplanting; they're moving you from this Galaxy, this overcrowded murderous rebellious synthetic galaxy, into another nice galaxy. Without murderous rebellious synthetics.
there's actually an alien species on doctor who that does exactly that. They zap you into the past and feed off your temporal energy.
Yup the weeping angels. Scared the icky stuff out of me when they first turned up in the David Tennant episode (which I forget the name of obv)
It was called Blink

Technically, he's still a problem for a lot of us because he comes out of no where - which led to frustrations because this five minute dialogue influences the whole outcome, compared to the whole trilogy impacting on the end.

That said, with the amount of vague statements and outright contradictions, gonna wait till April before making up my mind one way or another.

Garrus or anyone else in the squad, for that matter.

This is all PR misdirection. That's all it is. We are NOT going to get any real info about what they may announce in the future from the Twitter feed. Have we ever?
Next weekend is PAX. They will have a great, publicized forum at which to give the fans at large some sort of substantial response. They will either make a lot of people happy or lose a lot of fans permanently depending on how they handle this. Let's be a little patient and give them another 9 days before we get out the tar and feathers.

I was never talking to you specifically.....not until you quoted me.....if you include yourself in the group of people I was referring to, well then so be it....if you're not part of that crowd, than what are we going back and forth for?

The Gilligan's Planet ending simply doesn't follow from the events of the game, and creating a new explanation to make it fit won't fix anything.
If they truly care about the game, they should bring in an objective outside continuity editor.

what don't they understand in the word "new" for "NEW ENDING"??! We don't want an explaination of this crappy lazy-ass ending, we want a brand new one!
Let me say this again:
You. Will. Not. Get. A. New. Ending.
You. Will. Not. Get. A. New. Ending.
You. Will. Not. Get. A. New. Ending.
Yow will not get ANY ending that removes what you saw on the screen from the game. Change its meaning? Maybe. Expand upon it? Definitely.
But not remove it.
Deal.
Everyone is just going to ignore this even though what you said is painfully obvious.
They're all going to disappoint themselves.

So when they say they are going to "clarify" the ending does that mean they will show a clip of Joker picking up your squadmates while you bleed out on the Citadel?

No, I agree. Not that it makes me happy, but I doubt Bioware's going to get rid of the space brat. Or the Normandy cutscene. I'm still hoping for expansions of the endings.

Irony? Maybe you need to look that up in the dictionary....
I'm not looking for attention from you people.....I'm only stating what I think is right....you're the ones giving it attention because you don't like someone calling it the way it is.....whining about something you have no clue about, makes you a whiner.....
Haha

Games should make sense in their first playthrough, not the one with five DLCs unlocked.
Sadly they either did a monumental blunder when it comes to this or they did this knowingly and fully deserve the ****storm of anger they're getting. I find it regrettable and wish it were not so, but there it is.
