There was an ending. Just because you didn't like it doesn't mean it's nonexistant. The reason they're releasing DLC is because people whined, not because the game was incomplete.
Actually, you can't have it both ways.
If IT is true, the only meaning of any kind of finished ending would be the Reapers took you over and won. There's no waking up or anything included after all.
I'm not exactly sure what you mean by "both ways."
Indoctrination Theory/ Reapers Winning and a complete ending are not mutually exclusive. I find it rather complete that the Reapers win. The other possibility is that Shepard resists indoctrination (hence waking up in the rubble in London at the end of the 'Destroy'). I believe that, too, is complete.
Now we can debate for hours on what makes a game complete, but I have little desire do so.
I just want to assert that controversial (or as some would say 'open to speculation') and incomplete are two different things.
