Yeah...I envy you.  So cherry, so new.

Savor it.  Savor every minute for the sands of time ARE passing for you.  You too shall ultimately come face-to-face with...Marauder Shields.

That doesn't mean to say you'll  never see a s**ttier one... which I predict you will do in about 30 hours time.

But it's alright... when it happens, just come back here, we're here to support the crushed souls and know what it feels like.

What? 1 hour into the game and it's "Wow"?

I'm sorry but that sounds like what most professional critics do.

don't listen to these people, the ending was actually well done, but as you can see in all major gaming forums nowadays, people have to find something to complain about

And yes, I am "pro-ending"

No it wasn't and there is zero argument to back up your statement. Its just bad and undefendable. But he should finish the game and make his own conclusion, don't tell him not to.

While I personally found the ending to be garbage, one can almost never call an opinion "undefendable".  I'd be interested to know what arial liked about it (not here as there should be no spoilers).

In 3 weeks, I have yet to see a single post that provides a valid point in defense of the ending. So yes, its undefendable.

Most the positive reviews are from people who loved the message and symbollism of the ending without fully absorbing the unfortunate implications or the holes it opens up.

"I loved the unity and peace and hope that the minty ending brings" - sort've thing

Wow...it seems like it was just yesterday when I could say the same as you. No, it was actually around 2 weeks ago when I was so enabled.

Time sure flies. Where did the time go? Where did the easy enthusiasm and joy of my "youth" go?

OH GOD WHY DIDN'T I LISTEN TO MARAUDER SHIELDS!? WHY!?

Or ... try and ignore the people who, for reasons known only to themselves, want to decide your opinion on the game's quality for you, and form it yourself.

You will enjoy 99% of the game and then when you reach Marauder shields - let him release you from future suffering - really is the best way

I'm sure I'll enjoy it all..... I've played some shocking games in the past....some with some absolute s**t endings...

I've not read any reviews about ME3, or seen any vids about it....

This made me laugh so hard.

My friend, you have no idea what comes next.

I too have played many game.  So, so many with great endings and terrible endings and everything in between.

I too heard about the fan outcry about the ending before I played it.  That the ending was bad.  That it didn't fulfill its promises.  I admit I was worried.

But when I got the game in my hands all those worries disapeared.

It was better than the demo.  Better then the first two.  Better than real life at times.

The game is so so so so so good.  I thought no ending could be so bad that it ruins the game, much less the franchise.

I was wrong.

Finish the game, then we'll talk.

This guy is obviously trolling, I find it funny you take it seriously. I mean who would come to the forum after 1 hour into the game knowing that there was a strong chance you would get spoiled, even in a non-spoiler part of the forum.

No I'm not.... I honestly am enjoying Mass Effect 3.... I don't care what people say about the ending... I've never took onboard anyones opinion about any game before, and I'm not about to start now....if people wanna post spoilers in a no spoilers forum, then they can carry on.

Alot of people said DA II was rubbish, but I actually enjoyed it..... some people told me Frontlines Fuel of War was shocking.... I loved that....same as Homefront, and Deus Ex. I tend to make my own mind up about things, always have always will.

Don't get me wrong, I love everything about Mass Effect, I'm completley sucked into the story, but at the same time, playing video games is a way for me to unwind and relax.

When I get to the end, I shall form my own opinion about it....

I have yet to see any spoilers here.  They are already laying ALL over the place like a minefield (youtube, news sites, here in the forums).  No one is telling him how to feel about the end...nature will take its course and if this good soul is anything like 90%+ of players...He will soon be worshipping at the statue of Marauder Shields too.

Take your own path my friend!  We will all be here to welcome you into the loving, protective arms of Marauder Shields.

May Marauder Shields protect you!

I also enjoyed DA 2, so that should mean something when I say that the ending to ME 3 is so bad that it will most likely give you cancer.

Well, it DID give my beloved dog cancer and he wasn't even in the same room when I played!  The tumor was removed but we have fear of residual tumors...the field of death and destruction does reach deep DEEP inside.  I'm going to have my colon checked soon.  Just in case.

OK, AND just for fun.

Funny how nobody is allowed to make similar jokes about those who dislike the endings. One could get swarmed!

Well it's kinda silly to even imagine that because there is ever so few who LIKE the ending.  One in ten?  Ten in a hundred?

OP do NOT watch this vid until after you finish the game as the vid is one long spoiler...to others who have finished...THIS is THE best and most lucid, reasoned, correct (in many ways, including based on the RULES of narrative...they DO exist):

And that makes them deserving of comments like "Did you even play the whole series?", condescending jokes, or insults towards intelligence how exactly?

Being a minority does not lessen the validity. And there are better ways to discuss the likes and dislikes.

Its funny because there have been a whole bunch of threads like this, a guy saying he's loving the game so far and everyone telling him he'll hate the ending... then when he gets there he doesn't mind it.

While you're on the forums its easy to forget the ending haters are the minority.
