It's waaay too lopsided.
No it isn't. There is a logical reason that the polls on the ending ALWAYS slamdunk to the negative. Because the vast majority HATE it.
People who continuously post BSN polls as if they prove any kind of a point come off as rather insecure.
HAH....so the BEST you can get is 75% against the game:25% FOR the game.
That poll is totally different in any case - it is about the overall game itself. I agree that the overall game is good (as do MOST people) all the way up to 10 minutes from the end. Then? Shot to hell.
I was pointing out how stupid it is to place any weight in silly BSN polls. And how people who rely on them must be rather insecure about their opinion ... "I don't like this, so I have to validate that feeling by making sure I tell everyone else how much I'm in a majority in not liking it!". Rather needy.
Point is, some people like it. So stop trying to tell people who haven't played the game yet that they're going to hate it. You don't get to decide that for them.
React to people telling you you're in the minority.
Accuse those people of insecurity.
Condescend moar.
React to people telling you you're in the minority as a way of justifying treating people who are in said minority as if they don't matter or don't exist by accusing those people of insecurity.
Honestly, there's really no reason to come into every thread someone makes about how they're playing the game and repeat the same "YOU'LL HATE THE ENDING!" mantra. Unless you're doing it for yourself. Hence, the insecurity.

ahhhh I remember those times..........you continue to enjoy........but perhaps just stock up on the alcohol JUST in case.
Perhaps we should warn to remove sharp objects from easy reach when the final fight begins? Even spoons must be put away from easy reach. The desire to UNSEE what cannot be unseen will be so strong that the desire to remove the eyes will be almost intolerable.
DON'T DO IT. Mutilating your eyes will NOT help you. Alcohol, yes, to the point of stupor. To unconsciousness.

We always have the despairing fan humor. At least we have THAT.
I've got a folder for pictures about the ending too. It's more productive that spending time writing out just how bad the endings are when everyone and their mom has made, like, 5 videos and a dozen posts going into detail on it. Those who have played the ending and didn't hate it, look at some of the arguements against it. Those who have done that and STILL don't hate it, well, I doubt anything I say will change your mind, right?
Anyway, here's another of my favorite pics that is also relevant to this thread:

I'm guessing no, but I may be wrong. But take your time playing, take it all in and enjoy the ever loving crap out of it, form your own opinion, and if you hate the ending ( i mean the very ending, that like 1% of the game) at least do Mass Effect a service and don't let it ruin Mass Effect for you. The trilogy really does deserve better than to be dumped because of one flaw.
I am one of those gamers who's gaming experience is not ruined by an ending, if its great, then hey awesome, if its not, well my experience isn't dramatically affected.

Or, "Like a loud majority here on BSN..." Since I have yet to meet any real life friends who hated the endings, moreover, most of the people I play online with say they enjoyed the endings.
OP, there are good and bad and confusing things about ME3, luckily Bioware is already working on clearing up the confusing and all in all the game is very, very enjoyable. (As long as you don't romance Thane or Jacob.
Edited because the way I worded it said I didn't have any friends...

The ending can totally ruin the series for a person. And I will explain how with an extended metaphor.
Let's say that you decide to spend the day taking a nice walk in the park. I t is a beautiful say outside, and you meet and talk with many interesting people. All in all, you've had a pretty good day. As you turn around to head home however, you trip and fall face-first into a pile of dog feces. Suddenly, the only thing that you can think about, the only thing that matters, is the still-warm covering of dog feces plastered to your shocked face. When you look back on this day, you will not remember the nice weather, or the nice people you talked to, you will only remeber the dog feces. A chunky, glistening spectre will haunt your every waking moment and deny you any reprieve from this hellish existence you find your self in.
Now I don't care if you liked the ending, or didn't think that it ruined the whole series, but it sure ruined mine. For ME, that ending was dog feces. Dog feces to the face.

Why are you saying to not go till the end? Why not let him play through the game and then he will share his thought about the game.

I know...
It's funny considering I was told the same stuff before finishing myself and if I had actually gone with that advice I would've missed out on an ending I actually liked (nay, loved... yeah, there I said it). So yeah, how about you let people judge on their own?
